• Palace of Catalan Music - 8:15 am - Begin your day at our main office, conveniently located next to the renowned Palau de la Música. Here, you will meet your guide, have the opportunity to use the restrooms, and perhaps enjoy a quick coffee before the tour commences. Your guide will provide an overview of the day’s itinerary and what to anticipate as you prepare for the tour’s departure.
• Eixample - 8:30 am - Depart Barcelona through the Eixample district. As you leave the city, your guide will share a brief history of Barcelona, allowing you to relax during the 60-minute drive to Blanes.
• Cala de Sant Francesc - 9:45 am - In just over an hour, transition from the vibrant Mediterranean city of Barcelona to one of Europe’s most stunning coastlines - the Costa Brava. Cala de Sant Francesc, a hidden gem known only to locals, remains untouched by tourist crowds and large commercial developments. Our early morning departure ensures you have the beach to yourself, allowing for a peaceful swim in the crystal-clear waters or a solitary stroll along the shore. You can choose to stay on the beach for two hours or join us at the renowned botanical gardens. With a bit of planning, you can even enjoy both.
• Jardi Botanic Marimurtra - 10:15 am - The Marimurtra botanical gardens boast a diverse collection of exotic plants, but it is the breathtaking views from the cliffs that make this stop essential. The turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea extend endlessly, while below, waves crash dramatically against the rugged coastline. Although leaving the cliff tops may be difficult, a traditional Mediterranean lunch awaits you at a local restaurant. Spend the entire morning here or explore the gardens for an hour before returning to the beach.
• Blanes - 12:30 pm - After visiting the botanical garden and beach, we will first stop at the Castle of Sant Joan, offering magnificent views over Blanes. From there, we descend into the town for the day’s highlight: a feast of traditional local dishes and Sangria at a family-run restaurant. Each dish is lovingly handmade, earning the restaurant a reputation as one of the town’s best-kept secrets. After lunch, we will take a short drive to Tossa de Mar.
• Tossa de Mar - 3:45 pm - The final stop is Tossa de Mar, home to the last preserved fortified town on the Costa Brava Coast. You will have time to walk to the lighthouse along cobbled streets, with the stunning Costa Brava coastline as your backdrop. From the hilltop lighthouse, wander back through the medieval town, exploring narrow streets lined with traditional whitewashed houses and shops. After a couple of hours in Tossa de Mar, we will return to Barcelona, arriving around 7 pm.
• Plaza de Catalunya - 7:00 - 7:15 pm - Conclude the day at Plaça Catalunya. From here, you can easily access the metro or a taxi to return to your hotel. Alternatively, your guide will be delighted to offer dinner recommendations.
