Montjuic cemetery tour - This tour completely exceeded my expectations. The Montjuïc Cemetery walking tour was both peaceful and incredibly interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable, explaining the cemetery’s history, architecture, and symbolism in a way that brought the place to life. The setting is breathtaking — a hillside overlooking the sea, filled with magnificent sculptures and impressive modernist mausoleums. Every corner reveals another artistic or architectural detail that tells part of Barcelona’s story. The tour was well-paced, informative, and respectful throughout. If you appreciate art, history, and discovering hidden gems, this is a wonderful and memorable experience in Barcelona.

Must see tour! - Very interesting tour with Onno. Thank you! Meeting point and communication very clear. Inside stories, sometimes funny but never disrespectful. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Great tour experience - Onno gave us a great private tour of Montjuic Cemetery. He was very patient with us as we climbed the steps and asked questions. He was knowledgeable and interesting! I learned a lot from him and I can share that with my friends who ask about the many photos I shared.

Love a cemetery tour, and this one delivered! - We try to visit interesting cemeteries when we can find them, and I wanted to visit a family site here, anyway, so we were excited that there was a tour. Our guide, Onno, was personable, relatable and friendly. We were the only ones on the tour that day, so it was effectively a private tour. It was a beautiful day with a steady breeze off the water, but I recommend bringing some water to drink, as the sun can be a little intense. We worked out way down from the top, which I liked, since the monuments get more grandiose as you go down to the bottom, instead of sort of petering out if you went upwards. Many interesting stories, and Onno has clearly spent some time getting to know the relevant history (where it is possible to know it, anyway). The views are spectacular, and it's a nice, quiet break from busier sites in the city. After the tour, we chose to take a taxi up to Fundació Joan Miró, which is not far, and fit in well with our day.

A rich and adventurous experience! - 5/5 It turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of my trip.Onno‘s storytelling was incredibly engaging, and the whole experience was much richer and more fascinating than I imagined. What surprised me most was encountering the graves of people I had learned about earlier during my sightseeing—it felt like a thoughtful callback that tied everything together. Cemetery is such a underrated place to learn about one culture! Highly recommended!

This was a unique tour to... - This was a unique tour to a not very well known but absolutely beautiful cemetery. Onno was funny and very knowledgeable. Bring your walking shoes and water bottles!
