This was my 2nd visit to Barcelona and as a solo keen cyclist, getting a top‑quality carbon bike made this trip unforgettable. Claudio was super amazing, he was always a phone call away for support and provided GPX routes that took me through the best cycling scenic spots in and around Barcelona. His recommend routes were awesome, on smooth roads with punchy short climbs and super fast decents .... YEEEHAAA 😊 Couldn’t recommend Claudio highly enough, can’t wait to return and ride more 🚴‍♂️✨

Five stars for Claudio, cannot wait to come back to Barcelona and book another ride! - My fiance reached out to Claudio for a late November ride up to Montserrat. Claudio was very responsive and let us know that it would chilly, but we decided to give it a go anyways! For a small fee, Claudio picked us up from out hotel in Barcelona and shuttled us out to the ride. He provided us with some great Orbea road bikes, and led us along a breathtaking route up to the beautiful Montserrat monastery. The route felt very safe, and it was well suited for our skill level with the length and the climbs. Claudio mentioned that he does multi-day adventures as well, and I think during our next trip I will try to sign up for one of these. This was an absolute 5 star experience and was worth every penny. Great day riding the climbs around Barcelona - Took a break from a business trip to do a day in the hills with Claudio - brilliant day on the bike, finishing with a delicious lunch. Claudio is a very nice guy and a great guide and made all the arrangements very easy including pick up from the hotel, bike hire and he even lent me a helmet so I wouldn't have to pack mine. Highly recommend.

A great four hour tour of Barcelona with beautiful views. - We were visiting our son in Barcelona and the three of us had a beautiful tour with Claudio. He is an experienced biker, but did not mind that we wanted to use ebikes since we are fit but not really road bikers. He changed our pedals to clipless and we =thoroughly enjoyed our ride and the scenery. Leading up to the trip he was very communicative and helpful about where to stay and what to see. The very next day, my husband and I had booked a self guided five day cycling tour through Costa Brave, designed by Claudio, and I will review that nest.

Excellent road biking experience ! - I had an amazing time riding with Claudio. The gulls around Barcelona are wonderful. The three climbs on the way to Tibidabo were challenging but definitely doable, the last one being the longest and toughest. I was so happy Claudio made me feel good and totally capable of doing the climbs. He is a good companion and when riding around the city he made sure to make it all safe. The bike was top notch, carbon with Shimano drivetrain. Claudio even arranged to bring clipless shoes for me as I didn't want to carry that thru the airport when flying in. This was a great experience so book it if you have some road cycling experience ! You will not be disappointed.

The best of the best if you want to expose Barcelona in a sportiff way! - The perfect way to explore the surroudings of Barcelonia with your personal guide Claudio. With his eleven years of experience he's taking care of you. Has the knowledge to see very quick your level of experience with riding in a big city with the traffic and your overall riding experience. The ride itselve (4 hours) is wonderful with nice climbs and decents on very good roads bringing you above Barcelona plus also near the nice beaches in the north of the city. And ofcourse the highest point on the Tibidao hill with the church. Thx Claudio!

Great Riding in Barcelona with Montefusco Cycling - Outstanding experience on guided ride and bike rental! I was fortunate enough to stay in Barcelona for a month and joined Claudio for two rides and rented a bike for three weeks from him. As a guide, Claudio is a great guy who speaks excellent English and has a real love for cycling. While I’m an avid cyclist, I’m not exactly in racing shape anymore so I was apprehensive about riding with such a strong cyclist, but Claudio is a great riding companion and never seemed the least bit aggravated by my slow pace on the climbs. The bike I rented from him was a carbon Giant TCR that was in perfect condition with a sub-compact crank and generous cassette (I think it was a 28 or maybe even a 32). This is helpful because there is quite a bit of hill climbing around Barcelona (my rides typically involved 2000-3500 feet of elevation gain). But the roads are very well graded (rarely exceeding 7%) and the weather and views are so good, the miles just fly by. The riding around Barcelona is outstanding. Great road surfaces, well graded roads, beautiful weather and views and, best of all, polite drivers. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that riding through Barcelona itself was generally safe with numerous dedicated bike lanes and even bike/pedestrian ways—though it took me a couple rides to get a feel for the flow of riding through town. While not Amsterdam, there is an endless stream of bike commuters throughout town and it’s often the quickest way to get around. If you are an avid road cyclist, I would highly recommend renting a bike from Claudio if you are spending time in Barcelona. If you do rent a bike from him, I would recommend doing the local hills with Claudio on your first rental day. He’ll show you the best routes through the hills, the cyclist cafes to stop at, and will even ride back to your place to show you the safest route. You can then use that route to get up into the hills and explore differing loops. Overall, an outstanding experience with Montefusco Cycling!

Epic - Fantastic!!!! I did 2 rides- monserrat and hills of Barcelona. I never could have done the rides by myself. Having a guide helped me go fast and enjoy the views without any worries. Might even come back to Barcelona just to do more! The bike was also very nice and perfectly tuned.
