Rain barely slowed us down. - Augustine is knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. He made sure all of us were taken care of. The tour was awesome despite the rain - we covered A LOT of the area! We enjoyed his recommended restaurants as well.

Alejandra is the best!!! - We actually did the private version of this, just my wife and I. We had an amazing time! Alejandra was a fantastic guide, and her English was great. She took such amazing photos and she was kind and very flexible with us; we felt very taken care of! We had landed that morning, and it was a phenomenal way to see the city highlights and to get our bearings. The e-bikes made the trek much easier, so we really appreciated that.

Ocean Bike Tours - Great introduction to Barcelona - We had an amazing tour with Alexandra. She had great knowledge of Barcelona and was always willing to take our picture at many of the stops. We did the Barcelona highlight tour and the e-bikes made it a breeze to get up Montjuic’s steep incline. The bikes were very easy to use and I am only an occasional biker. The tour was by far the highlight of our time spent in Barcelona.

Recommended eBike tour - Great day out cycling and learning new things about the city. Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable and took us to places I don't normally go to. The bikes were great as well, very new and easy to handle. Can only recommend this tour if you want to get to know certain parts of the city.

Great even in August, book it now - Alejandra took us (mom and 2 teens (13 and 15yo)) on an amazing bike ride all around Barcelona - don’t worry about the relative lack of reviews, book it asap - highly recommend. Meeting spot doesn’t have an obvious shop sign that says Oceans Bike Shop, there is a different sign (in red English letters, something about Yacht/sailing) but it is where google leads you down at the waterfront and there is a Oposter on the wall. It is more hot and humid here than what we are used too (today was a sunny 31 C and 54% humidity) so I was worried about going from 10-2pm but it was fine. Barcelona is bike friendly and we felt safe biking through the city. Mostly stayed in dedicated bike lanes and dodging pedestrians when at the Gaudi sights was more of an issue than any traffic. In the city there are lots of crossings, so the group should keep together so the last person isn’t stuck when the lights turn. Biking also kept us cooler as you get a breeze and Alexandra was great about picking more shaded routes. It is also mostly flat, with the only hilly part of the ride being when you go up to Montjuic Castle (scenic and maybe it all felt easier since we were on e-bikes). We had no trouble understanding Alejandra and found her to be warm, enthusiastic and organized. Although she is newer to guiding in English her Barcelona guiding experience shows. She kept us safe, showed us more than I anticipated and had practical, specific tips for what we could do afterwards too. I wish I had brought a go pro to film parts but Alejandra did surprise us with a video she made of us riding at the waterfront. Thanks again Alejandra! What a great introduction to Barcelona.

Highlight of or stay - We thoroughly enjoyed our ebike tour with Julio, it was the highlight of our stay in Barcelona. It gave us a good taste of the districts that are a must see, with lots of interesting information, we especially enjoyed seeing Gaudi's architecture and the parks. The ebikes made riding to the top of Monjuic a breeze and we loved taking in the view of Barcelona. Julio was knowledgeable, full of interesting information, he also spoke very good English. We had a fabulous time.
