Respect the City, Respect Each Other - I truly enjoyed the hop-on hop-off bus in Barcelona — the sights, the fresh air, the chance to learn about the city with the headphones they provide. 🌍🎧 But seeing this at the bus stops honestly left me disappointed. Instead of returning the headphones, so many people just threw them on top of the shelters. Not only is this disrespectful to the city and the people who work hard to keep it clean, it’s also such an unnecessary waste. Barcelona is a beautiful place that deserves respect. Let’s all try to leave it just a little better than we found it. 💛

Discoving the City Beyond the Main Road - If you want to truly experience the city, the Hop-on, Hop-off is the way to go! It gave me the freedom to wander into smaller streets and uncover dining treasures I would’ve never found otherwise.

Green Route best - There are 2 routes offered by hop on hop off bus, the green route is by far the better of the two. Also buy your tickets at your hotel and save time due to ques.

Lots of stops, easy to... - Lots of stops, easy to identify. Need to allow extra time for all the stops if you’re from a cruise ship. Our trip back to the ship from the cathedral was over an hour and half. Buses were clean and ear phones provided for the different languages.

Hop On/Hop Off Barcelona on a rainy Sunday - Good overview of the city. Audio presentation could be more informative. Traffic is always a challenge. Red Line circuit took 2 1/2 hours to complete independent of time taken to leave the bus for sites.

Buyer Beware If You Wear CIC or ITE Hearing Aids - Please note: If you wear CIC (completely-in-canal) or ITE (in-the-ear) hearing aids, the earphones provided will not fit in your ears over your hearing aids, and you won't be able to hear the tour guide's narration at all. I learned this too late, after I'd already boarded the bus and was told that over-the-earphones were not available. As I had nowhere to safely store my digital hearing aids (I could not take a chance in damaging my delicate, $5,000 hearing aids by having them "swim free" in my backpack) while on the bus, I had to forgo this tour. I was so disappointed. I'd taken the "Petit Train" tour in Perpignan, France, only a few days before, and that company had the two different kinds of earphones (in-the-ear and over-the-ear) available, as has every other bus or train company that I've ever booked. To make matters worse, the tour guide on the bus told me that over-the-ear earphones were, indeed, available on the other route (there are two routes), so, I spent additional money for an Uber to take me to the starting point of that other route. Once I was there, the tour guide of that bus told me that that what the first tour guide had told me just wasn't true. So, I spent money on both the tour ticket and an Uber, and both were for nought. Later, Viator told me that the bus tour company had turned down my request for a refund of the ticket price, which meant Viator was unable to issue me either a refund or a voucher for a future tour (since the tour bus company would not reimburse them). Therefore, buyer beware: This tour bus company makes no provision at all for hearing-impaired people who wear CIC or ITE hearing aids (which is, to my mind, discriminatory) and they don't mention this fact either in their brochure or in their description on the Viator app. (Out of fairness to Viator, I am not giving this tour a zero-star rating because it is probably an excellent tour, but I feel that, for the sake of every hearing-impaired person -- not just me -- who wears CIC or ITE hearing aids, the tour bus company should urgently address this situation.)

a city tour in Barcelona on the open top bus - We went on a city tour hop on hop off bus in Barcelona as we were only there for the day and wanted to see all around the place. they have two bus routes the green and the red and you can change route whenever you like the routes cross over in several places which is very useful. We took the red bus first down at stop number one at the trade centre and travelled right around the route first to decide which part of the city we wanted to see The bus would slow right down, or sometimes stop at any of the important places at first I thought €33 each was quite expensive but we spent about six hours on the bus so it was a very good deal in the end .some of the buses were very full so you would just wait for the next one it was only about 10 minutes if that I don’t know how many buses they have but there are loads and loads it’s also good if you have reduced mobility as they have ramps at the stops and will help you get on the bus .there is also an audio guide in 16 languages and they give you free earphones you can also go to these places on the tube we did not as it was packed and we felt for our own safety as it is full of pickpockets i’m in my 60s and can’t move like i used to but if you are young fit perhaps the tube is good for you but you cannot have anything in your pockets as other peoples hands will be in there. we felt very secure with lots of rooms on the bus I think the buses went from 9 am, and the last drop-off was seven at night, but please check as I’m not 100% on that .we change the buses at red stop 14 and got on the green bus at stop 10 and travelled all the way around again to see where we wanted to stop in the end we stopped at green stop 12 which is by the hard Rock café and is the top of LA Rambla as it was 6:30 and the taxi is picking us up at 7 to go home it was a great sightseeing day and we got back to our hotel with five minutes to spare there are also some QR codes for up to 20% off some of the places on the bus tour guide. I will take a picture of the leaflet so you can get the codes from it for more information please leave feedback if this has been helpful and have a great holiday bye for now Nick

Tired of waiting. Buy Barcelona City Tour Red Bus. - There are hardly any buses. The wait is entirely too long. The passes say city sightseeing but the company (blue buses) is totally different which was misleading. The competition (big red bus) has more buses and was readily available while our lot was tirelessly waiting. I had to take a cab because it was too long waiting.

Poor hop on hop off tour - Lousy experience. Too difficult to hear and too difficult to understand the stops. Why they don’t refer to the stop number at each stop is beyond me. The tour was poor. Don’t expect to learn much from this excursion. Save your money
