Acadia is a beautiful place but as elders with mobility issues we found it to be somewhat "user unfriendly". The shuttle did not make us aware of the handicap entrance which let to our climbing the 50+ stairs to get to the visitor center. Even after being given the information, we still had to walk back to the pick up area as there would be no way for the driver to know we were there. The handicap entrance should be a regular stop. With few pull off areas, taking our car was really not an option. The best decision we made was the paid bus tour on our last day. Wish we had done this when we were younger.

The company were great to deal with and the tour was really great. I recommend Acadia National Park Tours to anyone visiting Bar Harbor.

We loved the trip. The tour guide was amazing, his wealth of knowledge etc made the commentary enjoyable. We wished that we had longer to spend there but unfortuneatly the boat doesn't wait. Thank you so much for the experience and we would like to recommend the tour to any one interested in visiting the National park on limited time

The site was amazing, our tour guide was not only very knowledgeable but very humorous. We truly enjoyed every minute of the tour and would highly recommended it to everyone that stops in Bar Harbor.

The drive/guide was very informative and funny. It was a beautiful, clear day so we saw lots of gorgeous views. The bathrooms were supposed to be open at the second stop, the driver had called the parks personnel and they assured him that they were open, but they were not. It was so much better to take your tour than to be on the ship tour!
