Great experience - The ride, views and guide were amazing. We liked it so much we did our own tour the next day too. You get to see so much more of the park in this way. Highly recommend giving this a try. Makes me want to get an e-bike soon!

So much better than doing it independently. - Marty is an excellent guide and e-bike instructor. She obviously loves her job and brings that love and attention to beauty to the tour participants.

GREAT E-bike Tour - We had a great time on our guided 4 hour e-bike tour. Our guide, Merle, was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable of the area. The Carriage Roads were beautiful and peaceful and we learned so much about the history. The e-bikes were good quality, with long battery life. We would highly recommend Island Time and if we're ever back in the area, we will gladly book with them again.

Do it - We had a great time. We would recommend doing the e-bike tour as first time visitors and a day rental as returning visitors. A bike tour is a must in Acadia, the carriage roads seem to be the lifeline of the park. Thomas was a good tour guide.

Fun, pretty ride despite the rain - Wish I could give 4.5! If you’re arriving at the cruise port know that cabs can be scarce and we couldn’t get a Uber. The meeting place is 2.6 miles away so not walkable unless you have a lot of time. We had to call l/wiat for a cab and showed up 8 mins late. Didn’t much matter because our bikes were not there when we arrived and we had to wait a bit for them to be delivered. Thankfully we got our cab drivers contact info, because he came to take us back to our ship at the end or we might’ve been stranded. Overall the ebike tour was a lot of fun despite rather heavy rain during the last two hours. Thankfully the road does not get slick or slippery and we brought rain jackets which helped a bit. It’s a pretty ride though not spectacular, think better views can be found at Acadia, but there were several pretty lakes and little waterfalls. Beacause we started a bit late we had to rush through the last half, to ensure we got back to our cruise ship on time and also the rain was making it a bit uncomfortable and everyone was ready to get dry and warm. Our guide was very nice (didn’t get his name), and shared some history of the area. Ebikes were very sturdy and easy to ride but we did have a few issues due to the rain, such as the gears on the handlebar wouldn’t work and turbo speed malfunctioned for three of us going up steeper hills. None of that was the fault of the guide; he did his best to make it a great experience and accommodate us. DEFINITELY bring water and maybe snacks - there is nowhere to get a drink or food till halfway through and 2 hours into your ride. Overall really fun day.

Great - wish lunch was included for the price - E-bikes are the perfect way to take in Acadia. I’m so glad we booked this tour and our views weren’t limited to just hiking. We had some heavy fog before lunchtime, but it lifted the last hour or so and we were able to enjoy the landscapes. The only reason I’m not eating this 5 stars is because of lunch not being included. The price was comparable to a 5 hour ebike tour in Switzerland, where we received a gourmet charcuterie picnic. I’m struggling to find the reason behind spending $170+ per person for 4 hours and then another $40 on lunch - I apparently overlooked this in the FAQ. Other than this, it was a stress free way to enjoy the scenery.
