Transfer from Bali to Ijen Area

Banyuwangi - Begin the adventure with an evening pickup from your Bali accommodation between 18:00–20:00, depending on your location. Travel to Gilimanuk Harbor and take a ferry to Ketapang Harbor, a journey of about 45–60 minutes.

Upon reaching East Java, proceed to your accommodation near the Ijen area. Check-in and relax in preparation for the early morning trek.

Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall & Transfer to Bromo

Blue Fire Ijen Crater - The day starts around midnight with a departure to Ijen Crater at approximately 00:30. Arrive at the base around 01:30, enjoy a short break with coffee or tea, and begin the trek at around 02:00.

Guided by a local expert, hike under the stars to the crater to witness the renowned Blue Fire (weather permitting). Around sunrise (approximately 05:00–06:00), take in the breathtaking views of the turquoise crater lake.

Afterward, descend back to the base, arriving around 07:00–08:00, followed by breakfast and a brief rest before continuing the journey.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall - Post-breakfast, proceed to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Arrive around midday to explore one of Indonesia’s most beautiful waterfalls.

Enjoy the panoramic viewpoint or opt for a trek down to the base for a closer look. Spend approximately 2–3 hours exploring the area, including nearby rivers and caves, with a local guide.

After the visit, enjoy lunch before heading to the Mount Bromo area. The scenic drive takes several hours through picturesque rural landscapes and mountain roads.

Expect to arrive at your homestay near Bromo in the evening, followed by check-in and rest before the early sunrise experience.

Mount Bromo Sunrise & Drop-off at Ketapang

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - Start the day early at around 03:00 (earlier on weekends) with a jeep pickup for the Mount Bromo sunrise experience.

Reach the viewpoint to witness a stunning sunrise over the volcanic landscape and sea of clouds. After sunrise, proceed to the Bromo crater area. Cross the sea of sand and hike up to the crater rim for a closer view of the active volcano.

After exploring, return to your accommodation for breakfast and check-out. Continue the journey to Ketapang Harbor in East Java.

Arrival at Ketapang is expected in the afternoon, marking the conclusion of your trip.
