Banyuwangi - Start your journey with an evening pickup from your Bali accommodation. Travel to Gilimanuk Port to catch a ferry to Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi. After a brief wait of about an hour, continue to the Ijen Volcano, where the adventure will commence shortly.

Ijen Blue Fire, Ijen Sunrise, and Journey to Bromo

Ijen Crater - The tour begins in the middle of the night with a trip to the Ijen Crater, which takes approximately 2 hours. Embark on a 90 to 120-minute guided hike to the crater, where you can marvel at the captivating blue flames and the sunrise atop Ijen Volcano. After exploring the crater, proceed directly to a hotel in the Mount Bromo area by 8 am. Once settled in, enjoy some leisure time to explore and prepare for the next day’s sunrise.

Sunrise at Mount Bromo and Travel to Yogyakarta

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - Rise early at 3 am to head to Mount Bromo for sunrise via a 4x4 jeep. Explore Indonesia’s most renowned volcano and caldera, taking in views of Mount Batok and Mount Semeru. After exploring Mount Bromo, return to the hotel for a delightful breakfast before traveling to Yogyakarta. Enjoy the scenic landscapes along the way while your friendly driver navigates the traffic. Upon arrival at your Yogyakarta hotel, enjoy some free time to explore and prepare for the following day.

Borobudur and Prambanan Temple

Borobudur Temple - On the final day, a 7 am pickup from your hotel will set the stage for an unforgettable experience. Visit the world’s largest Buddhist temple, Borobudur. The itinerary includes three main destinations: Borobudur Temple, Mendut Temple - the oldest Buddhist temple in Indonesia, and Prambanan Temple - the second largest Hindu temple in the world.

Enjoy priority access to climb to the top of Borobudur Temple, with entry tickets included. Visit two UNESCO Heritage sites: Borobudur Temple and the stunning Prambanan Temple, the largest Hindu temple compound in Indonesia.

Prambanan Temples - Prambanan Temple is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and one of Southeast Asia’s most beautiful temples. Built during the reign of Rakai Pikatan in the mid-ninth century of the Ancient Mataram Kingdom, the temple features three temples adorned with reliefs depicting the Ramayana epic, dedicated to the Hindu deities Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, and three temples dedicated to their animal servants. After exploring Prambanan, return to your hotel or head directly to the airport, concluding the trip.
