Excellent - Unfortunately, one bad part of the tour was the small group of VERY ugly Americans who complained about everything until they were returned to the ship. Those of us who stayed were treated to a marvelous tour led by Jimmi, who was fun, knowledgeable and cared about our welfare. So...excellent tour which I would highly recommend to others.

Bubba is the best guide in Africa - I did love the experience of Banjul city tour. Bubba was punctual, flexible, asking what I would like to add to the tour and offered a good price for an airport drop off. He is kind, open minded and a gem.

Bubba is the best tourist guide in Africa - Bubba was my host. He made an amazing job, show me everything, offered alternative sights to see, also offered a best prized airport transfer from my hotel. He was punctual all the time and very kind.

interesting tour - We enjoyed the city tour but especially our visit to the Albert market and the fishing village. These were authentic experiences that needed to be done with a local guide

It's a scam. Don't go - This is the worst tour from viator or ever. They tried to scam us into paying $60 to 2 additional sites. When we refused to pay, they said the other people in the mini bus already agreed and they had to find another driver. (We thought we had a private tour with 4 people instead of in a mini bus). As it turned out they said the same thing to the others. It's a scam and viator should return our money.

Worst Viator tour I have ever booked. - The tour operator never showed up at the agreed time of 9am. I called him, he answered the phone and hung up. I texted him several time and he didn't respond for several hours. He never said exactly where the pick up point was located. There were two main gates, one apparent from the dock and the other one hidden from the dock. Never made it clear which one to meet at. We were there but he wasn't. He finally responded via text and said he was on his way. I then asked exactly where and name of driver; he never responded to my questions. We were at the gate; he wasn't. It also happened to another older couple who were also stood up and didn't get the tour they paid for. Later his excuse was that his cell phone service wasn't working. How can you run a tour operation today without cellphone service. Very dirty with lots of single locals hanging around the gate all trying to get you into their car saying they were the tour company but none had IDs. I will never return this this place again and it's certainly not worth the $$.

Very disappointing. Will make me think twice before booking another Viator tour. - We booked a private half day tour of Banjul, The Gambia for 4 people. Our past tours involved a person with our name on a card and directed to a vehicle. We had to walk through containers to the main gate and many people trying to assert that they were our tour guide. When we got to the tour guide, he ushered us into a white van with about 16 other people. The other individuals booked different tours than ours. The guide took us to the market first then the Arch 22. He told us the third place to see was the museum that was closed because of Labor Day. It was supposed to be a 4 to 5 hour tour. Normally a Viator tour involves places that we would like to see. We saw the 2 places and were back to the ship in an hour and a half because the guide had to take the other folks to the places they wanted to see. One of the places that other folks paid to see was the crocodile park. One of the ladies asked if we could be taken to the crocodile park and were told yes and it would be $60 more per person. I have used Viator 4 other times and was very satisfied. I am very disappointed about the experience we had in Banjul.

Waste of Time! - Nothing to see in Banjul and the driver didnt turn up at first! When I contacted him, he made some excuse about a funeral, and only after approx 2hrs, a replacement driver was found, he was pleasant, but not a guide!
