- From 01:30 to 03:00 am: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali
- At 03:45 am: We reach the starting point and our experienced hiking guides will give an overview and safety…
Join us for a memorable journey to the summit of Mount Batur in Bali, where you can witness a magnificent sunrise from the peak of an active volcano.
Here is the plan:
- From 01:30 to 03:00 am: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali
- At 03:45 am: We reach the starting point and our experienced hiking guides will give an overview and safety briefing
- At 04.09 am: Our guide will lead you in a 90-minute trek to reach the summit just in time for the sunrise
- At 06:00 am: Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee served by our guide as you marvel at the breathtaking sunrise
- At 07:00 am: From the summit, you can choose to head straight to the car park OR take a tour with our guide around the rim to explore the second crater (erupted in 1926), the third crater (erupted in 1963), and the newest crater (erupted in 1974 and 1994)
- At 09:00 am: We will reach back at the base
- At 09:20 am: Indulge in a breakfast at a restaurant overlooking the lake and Mount Batur
- Between 11:00 am and 01:00 pm: Expected time of return to your hotel
- Children 4-years and under are free with accompanied of an adult

Walking is way better than jeep rides. - Our guide Jero is the nicest and most reliable, we were supposed to meet up with him at the meeting point, once they heard where we were staying(a hotel by the lake), he came to our hotel to meet us and started the trek from our hotel, he even walked us back to our hotel at the end, not to mention his spectacular photography skills!

Beautiful - Putu Pande and Wayan were great! Trek was a bit steeper than expected but we had plenty of time to go at our own pace. Beautiful at the top with coffee and boiled eggs!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! - My wife and I had an excellent time during our Sunrise Trekk up Mt Batur. Our driver Gede Arya was extremely nice and picked us up from our resort (he even arrived early)! After small conversation, and finding out we also wanted to go to a coffee plantation, he had no problem with taking us to one at the end of the day , knowing weather was going to be better vs later in the week.
Our guide up Mt Batur was Wayan Budiawan, who spoke fantastic English and is an incredible photographer too.
My wife and I would highly recommend this activity while in Bali. Ask for Wayan and Gede, you’ll be in great hands!

Best tour in Bali! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on in Bali — especially if the weather cooperates.
I was picked up at 2 a.m. by Putu Anton at my hotel. He’s a very friendly and kind person. He drove me to the meeting point at the foot of Mount Batur, where I met what is probably the best tour guide I’ve ever had — Wayan Budiawan.
The tour guide was incredibly friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and caring. He shared so much interesting information and made the whole experience even more special.
We hiked up the mountain for about two hours and arrived early — we were the first ones there. That meant we got an absolutely fantastic spot to witness one of the most magnificent sunrises I’ve ever seen in my life.
After sunrise, we walked around the rim of the volcano, went down the backside, and explored the petrified lava fields. The things you see on this tour — especially if your guide takes you around properly — are truly majestic.
I was absolutely stunned by the beauty of this mountain.
If you want spectacular photos or videos, take this tour. You won’t regret it.

Had a great trip - We had an amazing volcano tour this morning in Bali. Our driver messaged us upon arrival and picked us up right on time, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The guides were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout the tour, always checking that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We also visited the hot springs and a coffee plantation, which we absolutely loved and were a perfect addition to the day. Their local knowledge and positive attitude made the trip even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bali!

Trekking and sunrise on Mount Batur - Great trip to the top of Mount Batur. The trip up was challenging but affordable - and it was worth all the effort. Even though we came up on a day with cloudy weather, it was so beautiful to see the day go from dark to light. Great credit to our guide Wayan Budia and driver Gede Arya.
