10/10 experience. - Wali was a very kind and fun guide. He clearly cares about your wellbeing too when doing the hike. Not only that, he would offer to carry your stuff whilst he's already carrying your breakfast! As a bonus: he takes amazing creative photos of you.

Mount Batur Hike - Very tough hike, however was so worth the view. Our guide was excellent and very informative. Would recommend as a must in Bali.

Unforgettable Mount Batur Sunrise Experience - Hiking Mount Batur for sunrise was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. The early wake-up call was definitely worth it the moment we reached the summit.
Our guide was fantastic , friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. He helped set the perfect pace for everyone and pointed out great photo spots along the trek.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting Bali, Mount Batur sunrise should be on your bucket list.

Breathtaking Sunrise Hike with an Excellent Driver and Instructor! - I had an incredible experience hiking Mount Batur for the sunrise. The trek was challenging but extremely rewarding, with breathtaking views as the sun rose. Our driver, Dede, was fantastic—punctual, friendly, and made the journey comfortable. Additionally, our instructor was excellent, guiding us safely and sharing insightful information throughout the hike. I highly recommend both the hike and requesting Dede and the instructor!

Mount Batur with Secretoo - We went through Secretoo for the organization and we do not regret it: Mega our French driver / guide was super friendly and answered all our questions, he made us discover a beautiful waterfall in lush nature and accompany us in a warung for a very good meal based on fresh produce overlooking a rice field, we learned a lot about Bali thanks to him! He picked us up at 2:30 in Ubud and accompanied us to meet Karina to make the climb: the climb is quite difficult (it is possible to take a motorcycle for a fee in case of big fatigue ) but the view is beautiful and Karina was attentive with each. We recommend this adventure (2 adults and 2 large children )

Recommended! - The sunrise tour with Guide Jery was a great experience, well organized, although it is very crowded on the way, but the view is worth it. Highly recommended!

Amazing Mount Batur Sunrise Trek with Asta and Abadi - We had such an amazing experience hiking Mount Batur with Asta and Abadi. The pickup and drive were smooth, and both of them were friendly and professional from the start.
The hike itself is definitely intermediate – the lava rocks make the climb a bit tough, but the way down is much easier. Asta and Abadi set a perfect pace, guided us carefully, and always made sure we felt safe.
At the top, it was really cold, but they found us a great spot for the sunrise, took photos for us, and shared hot drinks and breakfast. They even showed us the steam vents and explained how locals use the volcano’s heat for cooking, which was such a unique touch.
The sunrise was absolutely breathtaking, but what really made the trip special was how kind, patient, and knowledgeable Asta and Abadi were.
Highly recommend booking with them if you want a safe, fun, and memorable Mount Batur adventure!

Fun climb in the dark! - Good experience and a fun climb. Local guide was quick and helpful in finding a relatively quiet route most of the way up (crowds are unavoidable). Great communication for pick up and a nice simple breakfast at the summit.

Spectacular Hiking Experience - This was a great experience! Our driver Dede was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Indonesias volcanos and was very hospitable throughout the car journey to and from Mt. Batur speaking great English. Our hiking guide Jerry was amazing as well gave me a literal helping hand for a lot of the hike and made this experience so special! Know it is not an easy hike, come prepared and warm!

Book directly with Operator. - I suggest not to book via Trip Advisor/Viator. The tour operator had blocked the day due to the weather forecast but the TripAdvisor site still allowed me to make a booking that was then confirmed by TripAdvisor. The tour did not proceed and I later received an apology and refund from the tour operator who was genuinely remorseful about the glitch.
Try to book directly with the tour operator whose communication was very good when they became aware of the problem.
