Visit the “War Cemetery,” the primary prisoner of war cemetery for those who suffered under Japanese imprisonment during the construction of the Thai-Burma Railway. The cemetery holds 6,982 graves of British, Australian, and Dutch prisoners of war, with 6,858 identified.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - Travel to the pier and board a private long-tail boat for a canal tour to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (approximately 30 minutes).

Kanchanaburi War Cemetery - Proceed to the “War Cemetery” in Kanchanaburi, the main prisoner of war cemetery for victims of Japanese imprisonment during the Thai-Burma Railway construction. Optionally, visit the Thai-Burma Railway Museum if time allows.

Bridge Over the River Kwai - Continue to the “Bridge Over the River Kwai,” constructed during WWII by prisoners of war to span the River Kwai. This steel bridge is part of the former Death Railway (Thai-Burma Railway) and is a significant historical landmark in Thailand, also made famous by the movie of the same name.

Tham Kra Sae Bridge - Visit “Tham Kra Sae (Krasae Cave),” once a rest area for prisoners of war during the railway and bridge construction. Enjoy the scenic views from the railway bridge.

Board a local train and ride along the former Death Railway (approximately 30 minutes) before transferring to a hotel in Kanchanaburi.

Kanchanaburi, Erawan Waterfall, and Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua)

Erawan Waterfalls - Guests are picked up from their hotel in Kanchanaburi and transferred to “Erawan Waterfall,” one of Thailand’s most stunning waterfalls, located in Erawan National Park.

Enjoy a walk to the waterfall, relax, take photos, or opt to trek up to the top level (7th tier) of the waterfall.

Wat Tham Sua - Visit “Wat Tham Sua” or Tiger Cave Temple, and explore the temple where you can see the most beautiful sitting Buddha image in Kanchanaburi.
