- Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub) - Next, proceed to the Maeklong Railway Market. Upon arrival, you’ll observe vendors selling a variety of goods. You’ll have the chance to purchase different products here. Additionally, you’ll witness the vendors retracting their umbrellas before the train passes through.
- Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - After visiting the Railway Market, you’ll head to the pier to embark on a long-tail boat for a 15 to 20-minute journey to explore the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Here, you’ll explore the market and observe how locals buy and sell locally produced goods.
- Bridge Over the River Kwai - Continue to Kanchanaburi, where you’ll enjoy lunch and then visit the famous River Kwai Bridge. This steel bridge is a significant historical landmark and memorial in Thailand. It is almost a symbol of the area and is a recommended spot in Kanchanaburi travel guides. The bridge’s history is well-known, as it was part of the railway lines during World War II and witnessed its share of conflict and bloodshed. After World War II, the damaged bridge was renovated by the Thai government in 1946.
- The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre - Then, visit the highly informative Thailand-Burma Railway Center, where you can learn about the bridge and the construction of the “Death Railway,” as well as the harsh conditions faced by the prisoners of war and local population who built this railway.
- Kanchanaburi War Cemetery - Afterwards, proceed to visit the war cemetery opposite the museum, home to the graves of around 9,000 POWs who died during the railway’s construction. Finally, it’s time to return, with a drop-off at your Bangkok City Hotel around 6 pm.

Nice tour! - Great tour. Our guide was incredible as well as driver. This was a private tour. We saw all the major places! Train ride was awesome. Good lunch! Reasonable amount of time at each place. I could have skipped the war museum. I would have preferred the railway museum. We were gone all day. Driver was I. Time for pickup
