On this tour we enjoyed the artwork all the way from start to finish, museum, food, drink and amazing icecream. The tour guide Yu, she gave us lots of information about places, art, food and very good for helping everyone if we need something or to buy something. Excellent service and we really appreciated. Amazing tour 😍 we had so much fun taking photos and videos and finish in Chinatown!! Very exciting and busy place.

Discover Bangkok’s hidden side - Even as a local, there are always hidden spots I haven’t explored. This tour gave me a wonderful opportunity to do just that. I got to enjoy a cozy little café tucked away in a small alley and wander through hip streets like Talad Noi and Songwat. The vibe was awesome, and P’Yu (our guide) ans N’ Kaojao were so kind—they always took good care of us. Highly recommended!

Great way to explore Old Town Bangkok - I really enjoyed this Old Town Bangkok walking tour. The meetup time was 9:30 AM, and although I arrived about 10 minutes late, they still waited for me, which I really appreciated. 🙏🏻 We met at Hua Lamphong Railway Station and started the tour at a coffee shop nearby called Recordoffee. As someone who collects vinyl records, I honestly did not expect the café we were visiting to have such a great vinyl collection. You can request songs to be played, and they played my request while we were there. Coffee was included in the tour and was really good. We also got to meet the owner, who was very friendly. We then walked to Talat Noi, which was the highlight of the tour for me. It is an old area that has been revived through art, so you get to see street art, traditional Thai architecture, small cafés, and a Chinese shrine. I have visited Talat Noi before on my own, but having a local English speaking guide made a big difference. She shared stories and details about the area that I would not have known otherwise and was very open to questions. We also tried some local snacks along the way. After Talat Noi, we continued walking to Song Wat. One thing I really appreciated about having a guide was that she knew all the shortcuts. I have visited this area before without a guide and ended up walking much farther than necessary. Our first stop in Song Wat was a local restaurant by the river. Lunch was included in the tour and the view of the Chao Phraya River was really nice. We then walked along Song Wat Road and stopped by a local store that sells a curated collection of items from different provinces around Thailand (around 70+ if I remember correctly). It is a great place for ceramics, accessories, and unique souvenirs. We also stopped by a popular ice cream shop hidden in the alleys of Song Wat Road. I ordered chocolate ice cream with chestnuts, and the owner even gave us free bananas when we visited. From there, we walked through hidden paths going toward Chinatown, where we tried another local Thai dessert. I could not finish mine because I was already very full, but it was still good. We then walked along Yaowarat Road before ending the tour with a tuk tuk ride back to the meeting area. It was my first time riding a tuk tuk, and since these can be expensive in tourist areas, it was nice that this was already included. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to explore Old Town Bangkok in a more relaxed and meaningful way. Being in a small group, there were only three of us (not including the guide), made the experience feel very personal and not rushed. Having a local guide also meant not constantly relying on Google Maps or translation apps, which made the whole experience more immersive. Thank you so much to Magical Trip! Looking forward to joining your tours again during my next visit 😊

A Flavorful and Colorful Walk Through Chinatown and Talat Noi - I had a great time exploring Chinatown and Talat Noi with Magical Trip. Our day started on-time by our guide giving a quick tour of the Hua Lamphong station. Then we stopped by a cafe, where we explored vinyls that the owner collected and enjoyed the music themed displays in the space. We stopped by 2 snack vendors. I really enjoyed the curry puff! It was a great lead up to the delicious meal we had by the river. I had a Pad Kra Pao with shrimp. During our walk, we explored colorful grafitti, old metal shops, the Talad Noi museum (where we stopped by for stamps), and the lively streets of Chinatown. We wrapped up the tour with some desserts, coconut ice cream topped with roasted chestnuts, which was unique and delicious, followed by another Thai Chinese dessert before hopping on a tuktuk. Our guide was very friendly, welcoming, and gave us great explanations of the food we ate and the neighborhoods we visited. Everyone in the group was also friendly and fun to interact with. Thank you Magical Trip!
