Great tour, exceptional guide - This was such a fun event! My sister and I do a lot of these kind did things and this was one of the best by far. We had been doing a tonof hiking so this was a great different way to see Banff/surrounding area. The ride was so fun, the e bikes were a blast and our guide Nick was probably one of the best guides I’ve ever had. He was smart, knowledgeable, thoughtful and really funny. He made a great tour exceptional!

Just book it! - We had a delightful day visiting Johnston Canyon and biking the Bow Valley Parkway. The parkway, when closed to vehicles, is an amazing ride. We enjoyed it so much that we used bikes from the hotel and rode half of it again a few days later. The ebikes make the ride so enjoyable and were in great condition. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

Fun e-bike ride with a small group and Sam as our guide. - Great fun on the e-bikes, but the hike was only a short walk to a very busy attraction. Lovely views along the bike ride.

Stunning views, great chat, squirrels but fortunately no bears. - What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Scott our guide was really interesting, knowledgeable and told us loads about the area and the natural world during the walk. The E bikes are brilliant, really easy to cycle and give you a good boost going up hill. The walk through the canyon and wood is incredibly scenic with amazing views of the mountains. All in all, well worth the money and thank you to Scott for making it such a brilliant experience.

Since the weather... - Since the weather forecast predicted tons of rain, we accepted the guide's proposal. We therefore removed the cycling portion, and walked longer on the Johnston Trail.

a warning regarding tour confirmation and cancellation - My experience with this tour was absolutely horrible. I booked the tour, and messaged them, asking whether the tour was confirmed. Instead, they only got back to me less than 24 hours, and it was too late to cancel with refund. After that, I contacted them, hoping for a refund and an amicable resolution to the situation. Instead, they shirked responsibility and directed me to viator instead, and said that since I booked with viator, they could not cancel the tour and I needed to ask viator for approval. When communicating with viator, they told me that the tour operator refused a refund, and only allowed a change of date, and that approval of refund can only be done by the tour operator, which then begs the question, why did the tour operator even ask me to contact viator for approval when they were the ones approving the cancellation. I was disappointed at the poor communication on both sides and as a result, I am now forced to pay the full price (which is quite expensive) for this. To further complicate the situation, when I was communicating with viator, they informed me that the tour operator wanted a change in date again, and that made things even more confusing on my end. In conclusion, this tour is probably well conducted and everything, but REMEMBER, the tour operator will not inform you early that the tour is confirmed, so make sure you can go BEFORE booking the tour, so as to not waste your money.

Make sure you l ow what you are getting into. - This was a disaster. The guide(s) never even introduced themselves and that is how it began. We took a van to Johnston Canyon with the bikes inside. In Johnston Canyon it was not a hike but just a walk. Due to time constrictions, we only went as far as the twin falls and then turned around. Really learned nothing about the Canyon. Went back to the parking lot to find out that we were taking the ebikes back to Banff and had to ride at least 26km per hour in order to make it back in time. My wife didn’t feel comfortable with this & ended up taking a bus back. This was never explained, discussed or made clear to us. Would not have done it had we known. At times we went as fast as 39 to 40 km/hr. They didn’t even have bikes helmets that properly fit my wife for example. The concept for this sounded great but the reality of it was just awful and a bad experience.
