Banff Trail Riders Cookout - While visiting Banff we came across this activity that included a Covered Wagon Ride and a Western Cookout, and it turned out to be definitely worthwhile. Communication and Instruction from the Operator prior to the day were very clear and concise. The meeting time and location was very clear. When we arrived the Staff was very helpful in getting us signed-in. Then we got on the Wagon with our two Rider Driver’s, Will and Tom! Both are very professional in their job, but at the same time they also provided some great insights about the area. They also kept things lighthearted and fun throughout the journey! Definitely recommend Banff Trail Rides and if you can get Tom and/or Will as Guides, even better :). Thank you Banff Trail Riders and Will & Tom!!!

Great time - We really enjoyed this excursion. Both of the trail guides were from Australia were highly entertaining, very charming and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Lunch was outstanding. Our steak was cooked perfectly to order and everything about the setting was very enjoyable with Holly recommend.

So much fun - We had so much fun on our covered wagon tour. We learned a ton about the area, horses, and park history from our guides Lochlan and Will and we were laughing the whole way. The steak was also cooked to perfection and sides were delicious. This tour definitely set the bar high for the rest of our trip. We highly recommend for all ages!

A great experience and meal! - This is a great family adventure for ages 6 and up. There is not a lot of walking involved. The horse drawn wagon takes you through beautiful scenery to a nice outdoor area to eat a delicious meal. The staff are talented and friendly. They make you feel right at home!

Outstanding - I highly recommend this tour. The wagon ride was awesome and we had some outstanding guides. They were very informative and knowledgeable about the history. The ride was great but the cowboy cookout was outstanding. I was really impressed with the way the whole staff treat the animals and it shows on how the animals follow orders. Very professional run operation.

A pleasant, not a Yee Hah, experience. - We had about 12 people in our wagon, mix of adults and kids. Very little information by the staff on the way to the cookout or on the way back, just a slow wagon ride on bench seating (tIp: sit at the back and you can ask the third member of the crew who isn't doing much your questions). Covered dining area with a couple of activities when you arrive. Maybe 30-40 minutes for lunch and head back. If you've done the same thing in Yellowstone National Park ,the food is better here and the rest of the experience is equivalent.
