Great hike with wonderful mountain vistas - We had a beautiful clear day for this hike, mountain vistas throughout were spectacular. Pratip, our guide was great. He was knowledgeable about the temples and stupas we passed, along with having general knowledge of the villages and agricultural techniques. Helped me with bird identifications, which is a plus in my book. He was patient and encouraging as we climbed steps and hills. Our driver also was very good in maneuvering through the crazy traffic and bumpy roads of Kathmandu. The Buddhist temple at end of hike was stunning. A great end to a lovely day in Nepal.

Breathtaking Landscapes, Beautiful Nepali People, and an Excellent Guide (Raj) - I highly recommend Cordial Trek - I was astounded by my surroundings on this trek: warm, rolling hills, mountain-dwelling people in their beautiful homes, local crops, bleating goats, a monastery of breathtaking details, and spiritual lore that stirred me from within. The images and feelings of the day really left a deep impression in me that I will always remember. Raj was a very friendly, competent and understanding tour guide, and I had a wonderful day with his company. The driver also waited patiently throughout the day and was readily available as needed. Cordial Trek was flexible in accommodating my schedule and preferences. They were available to answer any questions / concerns before the trek, and I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler embarking on this trip. Nepali people in general have been very sweet throughout my travels.

Recommended tour! - The tour was vey nice, my guide was very friendly and explained a lot of things, he happily answered all the questions I had and took me on nice paths for the hike. the hike itself was around nice areas with beautiful views, which were nice even in the rainy season, and the temple of NamoBuddha is one of my favourites I've seen in Nepal, no photos are allowed but the inside is really colourful and vibrant. The food pption was also very nice and the transport was perfectly on time for pickup and bringing me back to my accomodation.

Great little hike - Great hike, it was not overly difficult but I did not expect it to be as intense as it was. Don’t wear jeans…this is not a “jeans” kind of hike, and bring a hat if you burn. I was on overheat and my poor skin went from pasty to lobster. Our guide, Pratip was really excellent, and I appreciated his knowledge and encouragement to go slow. He was also very accommodating and would encourage stopping in shady areas to let my skin rest. All in all, a great experience. I even saw a dung beetle doing its thing. Dress light, wear a head, use sunscreen and bring water.

Nice leisurely hike, stunning views at Namobuddha Monastery - Raj was an amazing tour guide! He has lots of cool stories and cultural tidbits to share about his country. The tour itself went great--the hike was easy, though there was a bit of uphill and some stairsteps, which may be difficult for those who have limited mobility. The highlight of the tour was the Namobuddha Monastery. It is just visually stunning and well worth the time spent to get there. Photography is not allowed in the main prayer hall but that's fine--the memories of it will be engraved in your mind. We got to see the monks praying and chanting, and that is an unforgettable moment.

Successful tour to the NamoBuddha monastery. - Have the "Kathmandu: Dhulikhel to NamoBuddha Day Hike with Lunch" tour done but then the version by car. It was a beautiful and successful tour where the time on location deserves ***** stars. Had an informative tour from the guide where there were plenty of photo opportunities. It was the clearest day for years, making the pictures of the Himalayas rare beautiful. Then why not the maximum overall score? This was because, unlike the advertised programme, I was not offered drinking water. There was also a window in the car open so that it stank in the car because of the enormous air pollution and the driver regularly spat out through the open window which I also found rather dirty. But despite these points of improvement for Cordial Trek I enjoyed this beautiful tour and would definitely recommend them.
