White Crater - Kawah Putih is a renowned tourist spot in Bandung, West Java. Located in Ciwidey, about 50 KM south of Bandung city, White Crater is a lake formed by the eruption of Mount Patuha. True to its name, the land in this area is white due to the mixing of elemental sulfur. In addition to the white soil, the lake water in the Kawah Putih area also has a greenish-white color that can change according to the sulfur content, temperature, and weather. White Crater Ciwidey is in a mountainous region with an elevation of over 2,400 meters above sea level. Due to this altitude, the temperature at White Crater is naturally cold, ranging from 8 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius.
