His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah uses the palace to host foreign dignitaries and conduct all state functions of the Brunei government.

The centuries-old Kampong Ayer was dubbed “Venice of the East” by Venetian Antonio Pigafetta, who sailed to Brunei with Ferdinand Magellan’s flagship “Victoria” in 1521.

- Royal Regalia Museum - Explore the Royal Regalia Museum, officially opened on September 30, 1992, to commemorate 25 years of His Majesty the Sultan’s accession to the throne.
The museum’s architectural design reflects the characteristic concept of the Malay Islamic Monarchy.
It houses the royal regalia and customs used during the coronation, as well as exhibits related to the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei.

Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge - RIPAS Bridge
Enjoy a photo stop at RIPAS Bridge, named after Her Majesty the Queen, which is an iconic feature of the capital’s skyline.
The bridge was officially opened on October 14, 2017, marking another milestone in His Majesty the Sultan’s 50-year reign.
The 750-meter landmark bridge is the world’s second-longest single-pylon cable-stayed bridge.
