Although it was a bit dark, Oil provided us with torches, which were essential for navigating the rocky terrain. I couldn’t help but think that headlamps might have been more practical, allowing us to use both hands for stability. Nevertheless, the experience was exhilarating, and the cave’s natural formations were awe-inspiring.

A Taste of Local Life

After our cave exploration, we headed to a floating lodge for lunch. While the food wasn’t the highlight, it was satisfying enough to refuel us for the rest of the day. The lodge offered a peaceful setting to relax, swim, or kayak, away from the hustle and bustle of larger tourist groups. It was a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow travelers and share stories of our adventures.

As the day came to a close, I reflected on the incredible journey we had experienced.
