• The Dark Hedges - Known as The King’s Road, this is the longest and most magnificent highway in the Seven Kingdoms, stretching from Castle Black at the Wall to the capital city, King’s Landing. In the series, Yoren leads a group of Night’s Watch recruits, with Arya Stark traveling incognito among them. It connects the mainland to the small island of Carrickarede (from Irish Carraig a’ Ráid, meaning ‘rock of the casting’).[1] The bridge spans 20 meters (66 ft) and is 30 meters (98 ft) above the rocks below. It is primarily a tourist attraction, owned and maintained by the National Trust.
