Great Experience - This aquarium is perhaps smaller than others, but more than value for money. We spent nearly 3 hours there, including the cafe and the viewing spot of Loch Lomond. The staff are friendly and informative, the talks are interesting and the exhibits are great. Definitely would recommend!

Fun day out - The aquarium was great, went on a Friday morning and it was quite busy but probably better than a weekend day! Spent 1.5 hours here as 4 adults, no kids. The otter feeding and turtle feeding were great to see. Animal crossing experience definitely made it more enjoyable, recommend visiting during May for this added extra (no extra cost). Staff all very friendly. Small cafe with snacks but decided to eat elsewhere.

Great ‘day-off’ trip!! - My partner and I went and had a wonderful time! The staff were super friendly and attentive from the greeters at the front, to the cafe workers up top! (Shout out Katie for the great service!) The exhibits were also well thought-out and very nice to look at :)

Animal Crossing collab was so so cute!! - We went from Dundee to the Animal Crossing event and it did not disappoint! I love an aquarium anyway, but it was brilliant! The characters all over were very cute, it was nice to be surrounded by fellow fans too! The staff were so lovely, every single one of them was zo kind and really friendly. The exhibits were clean and the black-tipped reef sharks were my fave as I’ve not seen them before. Lovely setting and good value for money. The cafe has a beautiful view!

Great day out - My trip today was very good. I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing all the animals and learning all about them. I liked that my carers ticket was free because that means I can come. I liked seeing all the animals. I loved meeting Tom nook and doing the animal crossing stamps and quiz. I love reading all the facts. I found the places very wheelchair accessible apart from the touch pools but I was still able to touch some things. And the place they do the shark feeding talk theres not really a space for wheelchairs. All the staff were super helpful and kind and help us when we needed it and helped us when our photos weren't working. I had a really lovely day out ❤️

Fun but… - This was enjoyable but the price is a bit steep when you start to factor in parking, food etc. This type of experience should really be accessible to all types of budgets with a bit more creative thinking in admissions times and prices. It seems in today’s world enjoyable family experiences are being reserved for those who have larger budgets , which is concerning. On a similar note - why are you not accepting cash payments in your cafe or shop? Had kids with us on our visit and they were all set to buy something from your cafe and shop but could not as (guess what) kids generally don’t have bank cards, but usually pocket money in cash. It’s your loss!

Too expensive for what you get - I feel it is very expensive for the little you get. And i truly mean little. I also don't like that it's more expensive on weekends. Having to also pay for parking (not within the aquariums control) makes it too expensive to visit. Also got bored very quickly as there's barely anything to see.

Pricing Let Down - It was a spur of the moment when I took my grand daughter to the Lomond Sea Life Centre, Balloch. I made an attempt to book online when in the car park but couldn’t get a signal. When we arrived at the centre, I informed the lady of this attempt and that I would like a ticket for myself and my 4 year old grand daughter. The lady told me that there wasn’t much difference in the price when booking online, then charged me £38 for the tickets! When I went home, I saw that i could have bought them for £18! How can this company justify such a difference in price when people are having the same experience when visiting? This is meant to be a venue for families/children, how can people manage to take their children there, my grand daughter’s ticket cost £18, when having more than one child and on a limited income? The staff are lovely and friendly and whilst it is quite small, there are some fascinating creatures. The only let down is the pricing issue, I also emailed to complain but yet to receive a reply.

There are far better options!! - This was expensive & disappointing. Focus is very much on human entertainment (in particular small children) rather than learning or conservation. St Andrews aquarium is far far superior run with real interest in the animals & a far greater variety. No sharks at St Andrews but there are great sharks at Deep Sea World which is also far superior!

Won't rush back - Wasn't up to much. Not really worth the time. Quite difficult to navigate with a buggy. Admission fee is too high for what you see. Crowd size were large at feeding times making it difficult to navigate. Staff didnt tell you that if a child is in a buggy they won't be visible in pictures. There was a calm atmosphere.
