Silk Road Tour of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan - Artunj & his Uzbekistan partner Shovkat arranged everything for this trip from the visas for Azerbaijan to the flights, trains & hotels, the only things we had to book direct were our international flights. They also arranged excellent drivers & knowledgeable guides for everyday of the trip, all of which we would have no hesitation in recommending or using again should we return - if we had to mention one guide per country it would be Farhad in Azerbaijan and Sitora in Uzbekistan, both of which went that extra mile to make sure we had a fabulous time, understood our sense of humour and shared details of their home life so we could better understand their culture. The only inconvenience was that Azerbaijan/Uzbekistan airlines (shared flight) changed the day of our flight without any prior notice which meant we had an extra unplanned day in Baku without much to do, but this was no fault of Artunj. Our questions and adjustments to the itinerary must have seemed never ending, but Artunj always responded quickly and professionally and provided alternative options where requested along with some excellent restaurant choices, for example Qaynana restaurant in Baku where we ended-up going multiple times. In summary, we would have no hesitation with recommending Artunj & Azerbaijanguide.az to anyone looking for a trip of any length to Azerbaijan &/or Uzbekistan.
