Nice trip. - Very nice trip. Seen all the highlights. Was very quiet everywhere today. So we could look at everything. Only point could be the rather small sedan car for my son and I both 1.93 m not very spacious. Brand new though and drove nicely.

An unforgettable trip to the Yanar Dagh Historical and Cultural Reserve - The area of the reserve spans 64,55 ha. The main attraction of Yanardag, which literally means “burning mountain”, is a spectacular hill with a constantly burning wall of flames. Thanks to tectonic shifts and volcanic material below the earth’s surface, natural gas leaks from the rocks. The Italian trader and traveler Marco Polo even mentioned the flames during his travels to Baku and its surroundings, but most probably the fire has been burning for over more years at Yanardag. On the opposite side of "Yanardag" another hill used to burn for thousands of years, but as its natural gas leakage moved on due to tectonic shifts the three flames ceased to burn a few hundred years ago. Nevertheless, this fire is believed to have inspired the symbol of Baku which features three flames and the sea. Around the Absheron Peninsula more of these burning rocks used to exist and were used as sacred places by Zoroastrians in ancient times.
The larger Yanardag reserve offers more heritage sites such as an active mud volcano, a natural sulfur spring, the Girmaki valley and others which can be visited with one of our tourist guides.

Well organized short trip....We had an amazing experience... - We are Indians living in Dubai and wanted to spend few days in Baku relaxing. Since my trip was not pre-planned, I decided to take an airport taxi to my hotel and plan my itinerary while I am at Baku. Mr. Tarlan and Panorma Travel was recommended by one of my friends who visited Baku few years ago to try and see if we like his service. To our surprise, right from Airport till dropping us back at the end of our trip, we had an amazing experience. We were two families and our guide Mr. Tarlan made us as comfortable as we were in a very familiar place. I whole heartedly recommend Panorama Travel for your next planning to Baku/Azerbaijan. Things to know; - Choose your hotel and inform them. They will most likely get you a price cheaper than booking.com - Give your preferences and let Panorama travel get the best accommodation that suits your needs - You will feel the advantage incase of any cancellations or change of plan even after reaching the hotel. - They were with us in every place we went. Literally every place like window shopping, suggesting cheap bazars for shopping, suggesting best restaurants, suggesting what to eat and what not to. Joined us along on night walking, street sopping etc.. You name it we enjoyed it like a local. - Driving in Baku/Azerbaijan can be hectic as no one respects basic traffic rules and chances of a police stopping you is absolutely guaranteed, at least 3 times a day. Since he drove us around, we saw may tourists stopped by police on road but we were safe. - Mr. Tarlan suggested cheap and best shopping spots known only to locals and saved us from lot of hassle, especially from counterfeit products... - My best experience in Azerbaijan was on food. Without Tarlan this wouldn't have been possible For those who plan to visit Azerbaijan, I stongly recommend this agency, especially Mr. Tarlan

Rare, unique and unusual. - Stunning petroglyphs reserve, UNESCO heritage site is the place that took us to the unique world of ancient humans. The stone engravings, scattered on huge boulders, strange landscapes, a mystery to be unraveled. There is an admission ticket to this area and one needs to hire a taxi from Baku to reach this place. The Museum, a 3 km from the area is also a must to understand and appreciate the incredible history of this civilisation. From there, a journey to rare Mud Volcanoes reveals the wonderful geological formations, natural and mesmerizing. The way the little Mud Volcanoes make sounds gurgle and ooze is something seen to be believed. A must to see these rare unusual sights.
