The temple, as it stands today, was built in the 17th-18th centuries.
- Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - Yanar Dag, one of Azerbaijan’s most renowned “eternal flame” tourist attractions, is a hill with natural gas that has been burning on its slope for centuries.

Must do for a daytrip around Baku! - My guide Zaki spoke German fluently and did a great job showing me around the most amazing places to see around Baku. When you have only one day to cover the must sees, take this tour!

An Excellent Day - An excellent day from start to finish. Our guide for the day was so knowledgeable and great fun. We visited Temples, Burning Mountains, Ancient Cave Drawings and Mud Volcanoes....amazing. The off road to the volcanoes in a Lada 4x4 was thrilling. Hotel pick up and Drop off. A must do when visiting Baku.

Great Experience - I had a fantastic full day tour of Gobustan and Absheron, my guide was extremely knowledgeable and the information he shared about Azerbaijan as a whole was very interesting. I was lucky enough to have a private tour and both my guide and driver where very helpful, they were happy to stop off at little places along the way that we came across. I will never forget the journey to the mud volcanoes, so much fun. Thank you for a memorable day

Absolutely a must! - Communications, timings, driver and attractions of this tour where all absolutely as described and exceeded expectations. The driver Solomon is so knowledgeable about the attractions and Azerbaijan. Would highly recommend. Pete, Rachael & Katrina.

Amazing tour ! - It was an amazing tour and well arranged, we’ve visited different interesting places, Samer was an excellent guide,and his way of explanation was very informative and interesting. The team arranged the tour in a professional way (the driver, a private van, etc.) also was very good. It’s recommended for families.

Gobustan and Absheron Tour - We were three people from Sweden who visited Baku in June. I contacted Azerbaijan-Tours before we went there. I was called by Suleyman who had lived and worked in Sweden and therefore spoke good Swedish which was nice.
We booked three excursions. One of these was for Gobustan and Absheron. It was a nice tour where the Gobustan museum was very interesting. On the way home we were invited to lunch at a nice fish restaurant by the sea. Suleyman was a very good driver and guide and it was fun to speak Swedish with him

Recommended, top organized tour! - Thanks to Orkhan and the team of Azerbaijan Tours for a great trip to the Baku area!
Already the booking of the tour went very well: on our request we received an answer very quickly, all our questions were answered competently and friendly. On the day of the excursion we were picked up at our hotel on time at the agreed time. Our driver and our tour guide Ülker were extremely helpful, very nice and friendly. During the journey between the individual sights, we learned a lot of interesting facts about the individual destinations from Ülker; but were also able to exchange wonderfully about many other topics of daily life, so that the journey time flew by. We really enjoyed the stops at the Ateshgah Fire Temple, the burning Mount Yanardag, the mud volcanoes, the Gobustan National Park and the Bibi Heybet Mosque. This excursion is a great way to visit various interesting destinations in the Baku area in one day and is very worthwhile. The organization by the team of Azerbaijan-Tours was perfect - we thank you for a great day and herewith gladly recommend you!

Tour was amazing - The tour was very professionally run, pickup on time in an air-conditioned vehicle, the itinerary was perfect and we saw everything, the guide, Orkhan, was very friendly and spoke very good English and he made the day perfect answering all our questions with knowledge, insight and humour.
