- Maiden Tower - The Maiden Tower is a 12th-century monument located in Baku’s Old City. Recognized by UNESCO in 2001 as a World Heritage Site, it is a legendary landmark housing a museum that narrates the historical evolution of Baku.
- Palace of the Shirvanshahs - This 15th-century palace, built by the Shirvanshahs, is described by UNESCO as “one of the pearls of Azerbaijan’s architecture.” It is situated in Baku’s Inner City.
- Baku Old City - The Minaret Synyk Gala, also known as Mohammed Mosque, is the oldest building in “Icheri-Sheher” and all of Azerbaijan. Despite being bombarded in 1723, the mosque survived, with its half-destroyed minaret still standing tall.
- Nizami Street / Tarqovi - Nizami Street is a prominent pedestrian and shopping street in downtown Baku, named after the classical poet Nizami Ganjavi. Dating back to Baku’s 1864 town-planning project, it runs from west to east and is home to various outlets, from banks to fashion stores, making it one of the world’s most expensive streets.
- Flame Towers - The Flame Towers are a trio of skyscrapers in Baku, symbolizing the long history of fire worshippers in Azerbaijan. These towers include the tallest building in the country, featuring 130 residential apartments, a hotel with 250 rooms and 61 serviced apartments, and office blocks with 33,114 square meters of space.
- Highland Park - Formerly known as The Kirov Park, Highland Park, or Alley of Martyrs, is a cemetery and memorial in Baku dedicated to those who died during Black January and the Nagorno-Karabakh War. Located on a hill in the city’s south, it offers views of the Caspian Sea.
- Park Bulvar Baku - Baku Boulevard is a scenic promenade along the Baku seafront, established in the early 20th century by local oil barons. Stretching 3 miles (5 km) from National Flag Square to beyond Freedom Square, it features tree-lined sidewalks, shops, and al fresco cafes.
- National Flag Square - Crystal Hall is an indoor arena near National Flag Square in Baku. Construction began in August 2011 and was completed by April 2012, just in time to host the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.
- Fountain Square - Fountain Square is a vibrant public square in downtown Baku, popular for gatherings after business hours and on weekends. It is a tourist hotspot with boutiques, restaurants, shops, hotels, and passageways. Starting from Istiglaliyyat Street and the walls of Icheri Sheher, it extends through Nizami Street, also known as Torgovaya Street, running parallel to Baku Boulevard. The square hosts numerous public festivals, shows, and celebrations.

DO NOT BOOK: This is a scam - This tour is a scam - I paid $128.00 to book for 2 people at 11am on August 15. I was at the meeting point 10 minutes early and stayed until 11:45. The tour operator never showed up and did not return my message through the Viator messaging system. I called the company listed as providing the tour at a phone number I found on their website and they said they had no proof of a booking and would not do a tour. I’ve been trying to get a refund for over a week and neither the operator nor Viator has initiated a refund despite multiple requests. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR.
