Discovering Baku’s Old City
Arriving in Baku, I was immediately struck by the blend of modernity and history. The cityscape is a fascinating juxtaposition of futuristic architecture and ancient landmarks. My first day was spent exploring the Old City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where I wandered through narrow cobblestone streets and marveled at the Maiden Tower.
