La Paz Whale Shark Snorkeling Tour - My wife and I had an absolutely unforgettable experience swimming with whale sharks in La Paz, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Joe.
From start to finish, Joe was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made sure we felt comfortable and safe the entire time, especially before getting in the water. His instructions were clear and reassuring, which made a big difference—especially for first-time swimmers with whale sharks.
Once we were in the water, the experience was surreal. Joe did an amazing job positioning us so we could safely and respectfully swim alongside these incredible animals. You can tell he truly cares about both his guests and the well-being of the whale sharks.
He also captured amazing photos and videos for us, which we’ll cherish forever. It allowed us to stay present in the moment without worrying about documenting everything ourselves.
Overall, this was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Cabo/La Paz. If you’re considering a whale shark tour, I cannot recommend Joe enough—he made the entire experience seamless, safe, and truly magical.

Truly amazing experience - It was our first time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We stayed at the hotel Corazón, which was just a short walk from the marina. The tour guide was super friendly and funny, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about whales. We learned some interesting facts. It was my first time seeing whales breaching. They also took us to see El Arco, served us drinks and a tasty lunch. The tour lasted about 2 1/2 hours. Best part of our vacation. Truly amazing experience! I highly recommend this tour.

Bucket list day with Whale Sharks - The tour was better than expected. They picked us up on time at our resort in a clean, new van. (With AC)… not always a given in Mexico. Drove us to the marina, supplied us with a sandwich for lunch. (Also better than I expected). Set us up with our wetsuit's, loaded us in our boats, we were not cramped at all, everyone was professional & communicated to us every step of the way; their English was very good. The only stressful part of the day was the brief minutes when they are trying to locate a whale shark to swim with…. This took 10 long minutes. :)
Dante & Enrique are a great team! Dante, our in water guide spent the entire time in the water following the whale shark & communicating the best position of the boat and swimmers. Enrique circled with the boat picking up & moving us ahead of the whale shark so we would have the best viewing experience…. In case you aren’t aware, whale sharks never stop moving. You won’t truly appreciate a guide like Dante & his endurance, until you try and swim next to these massive sharks. They appear to be moving slow… they aren’t. This is where Dante & Enrique’s system of moving swimmers in front of the sharks, basically lining you up in their path as they swim by; works so well! So good news if you haven’t visited the gym for a cardio session in a while… Dante & Enrique will get you right where you need to be. You will have more time than you can handle in the water with these giants!
I almost forgot to mention the meal they served when we returned to the dock; very good! I’m pretty sure they caught the fish they put in my tacos while we were out on the tour.
Then we were loaded back up in our van for our nap & trip back to our resort. Pretty great day!

Do this tour! - Dante y Juan were great guides and captains! Worth every penny, everyone got a close encounter! 2 hours on the boat and sharks galore!
We would book again, perfect water temp and flat in the bay with a light breeze.

Epic Experience - This was an experience of a lifetime for me and my 10 year old daughter. Capt Juan was amazing and our guide, Dante, made everything incredible in spite of the water being a bit murky. He put us right on top of 3 different whale sharks. Absolutely stunning and magnificent creatures. Lunch was awesome, equipment was awesome, our drive was awesome, everything was awesome! 10 out of 10!

Super Mário y su Tiberón Ballenato!!! - Our guide Mario was super, as was our Capitán Don Enrique! Mario is very passionate and extremely knowledgeable of the ecosystem he grew up in.
In awe of such majestic and gentle giants.

We didn’t get eaten by a whale shark! - On the boat- Dante and Javier were fantastic! We swam with a bunch of whales. Dante was great about guiding us in the water so we had the best view of the whale sharks. No one became a whale shark snack, and we came back with the same number of people that we started with. Javier drove the boat nice and smooth, and there were lots of dolphins and pelicans. Overall, a fantastic time! Also, lunch was delicious tacos.
For the drive out to La Paz- Piña was our driver. He did a great job! We sat in the front and it was great to talk with him and learn more about Baja. Next time we’ll be stopping for carnitas!!!

Told wrong pickup time. Left without me. No refund. - I didn’t go. I was super excited. They told me the wrong pickup time over the phone. So I showed up 45 min late. Then refused to refund me my $500. It was my birthday.
