Lake Tana - Short flight north to Bahir Dar. Bahir Dar is a pleasant city located on the shores of Lake Tana, the largest lake in Ethiopia. After checking into your hotel, exploring Lake Tana and its islands by boat. We visit the monastery churches of Ura Kidane Mihiret, Azwa Mariam, Ura Kidanemihiret is the best known of the monasteries and has an important collection of religious icons from the 16th to 18th centuries A.D. Azwa Mariam is known for its paintings and we also have time to visit the small museum.

Weekend gateway to Simien Mountains - I picked a weekend getaway to the Simien Mountains with Ethio Target Tour and Travel after a recommendation from a friend, and it was pure magic! Our two-day adventure started with a road trip from Bahirdar to Gordan for an early lunch and then to Sankaber, in time for a sunset trek. We spent a comfortable night under a canopy of stars, waking up at that altitude, surrounded by crisp mountain air, was absolutely invigorating. The next day's trek was unforgettable. The hike from Sankaber to Gich unfolded endless panoramic vistas, with the mighty Jinbar Falls roaring in the distance. Our expert guides, as surefooted as mountain goats, led the way, sharing fascinating stories about the unique plants and animals. We were lucky to spot from distant the rare klipspringer and mini bushbuck, adding to the excitement! The diverse plant life, with colorful flowers and unique trees, blossomed alongside the breathtaking scenery. Even the overnight stay at Sankaber camp felt luxurious. Ethio Target provided delicious meals and comfortable tents, making the entire experience incredibly smooth. The two days felt like a whirlwind adventure, leaving me wanting to explore more of the Simien's grandeur. Solomon and your team a big thumps up! Very professional and seemless services. Northern trip to Ethiipia - Trip to the north with my family on January operated by Ethio Target Tour and Travel. So nice journey driver and guide Andualem was absolutely knowledgeable. He knows everything. So far we where happy my time in Ethiopia.
