Great excursion - We had a great experience. We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy the beach and this served that up. There weren't too many people on the island and the cabanas weren't full so we didn't have any immediate neighbors. The weather was perfect, the water clear, and our server (Junior) was attentive. We aren't drinkers so can't attest to the cocktails, but we enjoyed the lunch and soft drinks. All in all, we thought it was worth the money! The only thing that would make it better would be if they did a round trip boat from the cruise port instead of from the Paradise Island ferry terminal.

The ocean water was beautiful. The island is very well maintained. Bathroom and showers available. The cabanas are great and comfortable. Lunch was simple and good, drinks were great! We had lovely time, we just wished we had a few hours more ahahaha

A day in paradise - Great day, well organized. Lunch was good and plenty. Ivan, Watson were very attentive to our needs. AJ, our snorkel guide was fabulous and showed us many types of fish. The water is so clear, it’s amazing!

Great snorkeling and lounging in a cabana - The coral reef was full of beautiful fish in every colour of the rainbow. I thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling here. I saw sea urchins, sea cucumbers and many types of coral. The water temperature is quite pleasant after you move around a lot. I also kayaked but didn’t do paddle boarding because of the windy conditions. You are confined to a somewhat small space for kayaking and swimming.

Could be great if everything works. - There were issues with this trip, like we were in a group cabana but the chairs in the group did not have cushions, the WIFI was out and they did not have towels due the their washers not working. The booking company did refund 20% due to these issues and made it right. It is old and not the best from an upkeep perspective. The service was great overall.

Read before Booking to Manage Expectations. - My husbands rating 2/10 My rating 9/10 His complaints: you cannot snorkel or kayak around the Island. There is a very small beach area that you are allowed to use. Also you cannot explore the Island, part of it is private. The snorkeling is another tiny area and is appointment based for 30 mins. I on the other hand enjoyed it, the cabana was great, the butler was amazing and the snorkeling was fun, there were statues and sunken boat, airplane etc. With lots of colorful fish. The lunch wasn't to my taste at all since I don't eat chicken legs or fish, but I'm used to that since I am fussy. If you know what to expect when booking I'm sure you will love it. We just expected for my husband to be able to snorkel/ kayak around the small island while I enjoyed the cabana. If I had known, I would not have booked the excursion. In my mind it was not worth the $500 that I paid for it.

Pearl Island is beautiful; cabana NOT worth it. - As a travel agent, I was really excited about this but this excursion was a huge disappointment & more of a hassle than anything. We waited around for the ferry in the morning for almost 2 hours. The employees at the ferry terminal told us that someone didn't show up for work, that was why it took so long. There was a lot of miscommunication throughout the day. Even though the excursion said round trip transportation was included; the ferry terminal made us pay for one way tickets. Pearl Island itself is beautiful and quiet. The "private cabana" was definitely not worth it. It was not private at all; it was run down & needed major updating. The ceiling fans didn't work. The pillows smelled like mildew. The food & drinks were terrible. Our food came out cold. The majority of the plate was filled with rice & beans. About a quarter of the plate had a scoop of coleslaw, a chicken leg & nuggets of fish. The coleslaw was warm; everything else was cold. We couldn't bite through the chicken, it was extremely hard and rubbery. The rice had no taste. The fish was actually really good but it was cold & and only 3 tiny pieces . The drinks were terrible as well; they were made extremely strong. I asked for juice to mix it with & the it was warm.  When we asked about snorkeling, we were told they didn't have that "today". We asked about the water inflatables & we were told that area wasn't open. This was not worth even half of what we paid. We were supposed to be there for the day & only ended up being there for 2 1/2 hours. Definitely NOT worth the money. I will not recommend this to any of my clients.
