Yangon - Bago - Kyaikhtiyo

Bago - The tour commences with a pickup from your centrally located hotel, heading towards Bago, the capital of the 16th century.

Taukkyan War Cemetery - En route, there will be a brief stop at the War Cemetery for a photo opportunity.

Kyaly Khat Wai Monastery - Upon reaching Bago, the first visit is to Kyaik Khat Wain Monastery, offering insights into the monks’ daily routines and a chance to observe the lunch process.

Shwethalyaung Buddha - Next, the tour visits the remarkable Shwe Tha Lyaung Reclining Buddha, which is 55 meters long.

Shwemawdaw Paya - The Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda is a notable Buddhist pagoda in Bago, Myanmar (Burma), renowned for its golden spire and a towering 28-meter high image.

Kyaik Pun Pagoda - Kyaik Pun Pagoda in Bago, Myanmar, is celebrated for its four large Buddha statues, each 7.3 meters tall, seated back-to-back. The central stupa stands 27 meters high, making the pagoda a favored spot for both pilgrims and tourists due to its distinctive design and cultural importance.

Kanbawzathadi Golden Palace - Visit the Kanbawzathardi Golden Palace of King Bayinnaung, where a replica palace with original teak posts can be observed.

Kyaiktiyo Pagoda - In the afternoon, the journey continues to Kyaikhto, heading directly to the basecamp, followed by an open truck ride to the mountain top, which takes about an hour. The trip through the monsoon forest with mountain ranges offers a unique experience. Afterward, there is a 20-minute walk to the destination. In the evening, enjoy the stunning sunset from the mountain top before spending the night at the hotel.

Visit to Golden Rock Pilgrimage Site - Yangon

Kyaiktiyo Pagoda - After breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide will pick you up to visit the main pilgrimage site. Here, you will see the sacred boulder covered in gold leaves, precariously balanced on the edge of a cliff, 3000ft above sea level. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from this unforgettable viewpoint. The Golden Rock Pagoda hosts the 9000-candle lighting festival twice a year, making it one of Myanmar’s popular events. In the afternoon, take a truck down to the basecamp and then continue the drive back to Yangon.
