- Nusa Dua Beach - The first destination is Pantai Mengiat, renowned as the finest beach in Nusa Dua. Visitors can relax, rent sunbeds, swim, or simply admire the stunning view. A walk along the coast leads to the Water Blow (left of Pantai Mengiat, where the driver will wait in the parking area) or Geger Beach (to the right). Take this opportunity to unwind and enjoy the scenery, but remember to inform the driver of your return time. The driver will be waiting in the parking lot, and if more free time is desired, just inform the driver, who will gladly accommodate the request.
While skipping travel stops is an option, it is advisable to reach Uluwatu Temple by 4:30 pm, as the spectacular Kecak dance show begins at 6 pm.
- Water Blow - Water Blow is a brief 15-minute walk from Pantai Mengiat. This unique location in Nusa Dua features large waves from the Indian Ocean crashing against the rugged limestone cliffs. The Water Blow is created by the narrowing crag below the cliff’s face, channeling a massive surge of water up to 30 meters high from its base after strong currents. This phenomenon results in giant, irregular waves that can reach several meters high. The area offers a 240-degree view of the dramatic seascape, bordered by guardrails.
Please note that the intensity of wave splashes can vary depending on water levels and wind conditions.
- Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park - GWK is a cultural park dedicated to the Hindu God Vishnu and Garuda, the mythical bird who became his companion. The enormous statue of Lord Vishnu riding Garuda stands 120 meters tall, making it a landmark and iconic symbol of Bali.
- Melasti Beach - Situated below a high cliff, this beach boasts clear blue water, corals, and a breathtaking view from the cliff, making it one of Bali’s best beaches.
- Dreamland Beach - A stunning beach with white sand.
- OMNIA Bali - A chic, oceanfront club featuring a swimming pool, three bars, and DJ events in a stylish, open-air setting.
- Padang Padang Beach - Since the filming of “Eat, Pray, Love” and a visit from Julia Roberts, this beach has become a must-see. It is also well-known in the surfing community for its impressive size and excellent waves. It hosts the annual Rip Curl surfing contest in July-August.
- Kecak and Fire Dance - A Kecak dance performance based on the Ramayana is held daily at Uluwatu Temple at 6 pm on the cliffside. This outdoor performance also showcases the beautiful sunset as you watch the Kecak Fire Dance.
- Uluwatu Temple - This temple (pura in Balinese) is perched at the edge (ulu) of a 70-meter high cliff (watu) overlooking the sea. Although a small temple is believed to have existed earlier, the structure was significantly expanded by a Javanese sage, Empu Kuturan, in the 11th century. Another sage from East Java, Dang Hyang Nirartha, is credited with constructing the padmasana shrines, and it is said that he attained moksha here, an event locally called ngeluhur (“to go up”). This has led to the temple’s epithet, Luhur. The temple is inhabited by monkeys throughout. The view from the cliff is truly enjoyable.
- Jimbaran Bay - Jimbaran Bay is one of Bali’s best spots for unforgettable sunsets and grilled seafood at beachside cafes.
