Setting Sail on “Angels”

The morning sun kissed the horizon as I arrived at the port, eager to embark on the Nusa Penida Yacht Tour. The anticipation of swimming with manta rays had me buzzing with excitement. Boarding was a breeze, thanks to the pier-to-pier setup, sparing us the usual wade through the water. Our guides, Ceco and Kudil, greeted us with warm smiles, their enthusiasm infectious as they briefed us on the day’s itinerary.

The crossing to Nusa Penida was smooth, the sea a vast expanse of blue stretching endlessly around us. As we approached the island, the rugged coastline came into view, a prelude to the adventures that awaited us beneath the waves.

After our enchanting encounter with the manta rays, we set off to explore more of Nusa Penida. Our guides led us to a secluded lagoon near Lembongan Island, where we snorkeled amidst vibrant coral gardens teeming with marine life. The colors were dazzling, a kaleidoscope of hues that danced in the sunlight.

Lunch was served at a picturesque spot overlooking Mount Agung. The view was nothing short of spectacular, the volcano’s silhouette rising majestically against the sky. As we dined, the infinity pool beckoned, offering a refreshing dip with a view that seemed to stretch into eternity.

Our final stop was Kelingking Beach, famous for its T-Rex shaped cliff. The area was bustling with tourists, but our guide Ceco had a trick up his sleeve. With a ladder in hand, he led us to a prime photo spot, capturing memories that would grace our social media feeds for years to come.

As the day drew to a close, we made our way back to the yacht, the sun setting in a blaze of color over the horizon. The journey back to Sanur was filled with laughter and shared stories, a fitting end to a day of adventure and discovery.
