Setting Sail on a New Adventure

The sun was just beginning to rise as I made my way to the meeting point in Serangan, the anticipation of the day ahead bubbling within me. As a marine biologist, the ocean has always been my sanctuary, a place where I find both peace and excitement. Today, I was embarking on the Nusa Penida Yacht Tour with a small group of fellow adventurers, ready to explore the vibrant marine life around Nusa Penida and Lembongan.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome drink and the friendly faces of the crew, Nyoman, Aldo, Putu, and Made. After a morning of snorkeling, we made our way to La Rossa for a well-deserved lunch. The view from the infinity pool was breathtaking, with Mount Agung standing majestically in the distance. The food was a delightful blend of local flavors, a perfect complement to the serene surroundings.

Our journey continued with a visit to Paluang Cliff, where the dramatic landscape offered a stunning backdrop for photos. Despite the wind and the crowds, the beauty of the cliff was undeniable, and I couldn’t resist capturing the moment with my camera. As we made our way back to the mainland, the gentle rocking of the boat lulled me into a peaceful nap, a perfect end to a day filled with adventure and discovery.
