Was amazing seeing the sun rise - Driver was good, picked us up from hotel at specified time & was very attentive. Area our driver was good to communicate with and helpful.

An Awesome Experience - The driver, Eddy, was waiting prior to the 3am pickup time. The trip to the jeep transport was very comfortable. Our Jeep driver, Martin, was excellent. He safely and confidently drove us up the mountain even though there were no lights and the terrain was very steep in places. He made sure we were comfortable and provided a great breakfast while we waited for sunrise. Clearly, he knew the best location to park the Jeep - which was important considering the many other jeeps vying for a good spot. We then went to the Lava fields, which were amazing. Martin provided a wealth of knowledge and we did not feel rushed. He was awesome at taking pictures for us. Martin dropped us off with Eddy for the ride back to Ubud. Eddy was definitely an expert navigator and dropped us off at a restaurant in Ubud’s center with no problems. Overall, I would definitely recommend - you will not be disappointed with the experience. Tips: 1) It costs 10K per person to use the outhouse/bathroom on the mountain; 2) It was pretty chilly - definitely need a jacket or sweatshirt; 3) The ladies have plenty of beautiful/inexpensive souvenirs for purchase. Finally, we were sooooo glad we took a Jeep to get up the mountain. Otherwise, we were told it’s over a 2 hr. trek uphill through the dark - we passed several groups of walkers along the route.

Great tour - Anton was a great guide and funny too, he arrived on time and spoke passionately about this beautiful country. He was always ready to take a photo of us so we can remember this awesome time.
