Great tour of Ubud! - Had a wonderful full day private tour with another couple from our group. Our English speaking guide, Putu, was very accommodating, a highly skilled driver and entertaining. No time pressure whatsoever.

Bali island tour - My wife and I had a great time touring the island of Bali. We booked the same time as our friends and were able to ride in the same car together. We were picked up at our hotel by Putu. He is a great guide who has much knowledge of the island. He is a safe and patient driver. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was beautiful, exactly how you'd imagine it. This tour was the highlight of our time in Bali. Thank you Putu.

Excellent tour! Highly recommend! - This was an awesome tour. Communication before, during and after was excellent. The tour itself was really the best of Bali. Our guide, Alex, did everything to accommodate us and make it special. I would highly recommend booking this tour!

Best tour ever! - Fantastic tour of beautiful points of Ubud! Aris was my driver/guide and he was the best. He is a very laid back surfer dude with lots of interesting stories about Bali and his life here. His restaurant suggestion for lunch was wonderful. The sites of Ubud are spectacular and only could be made better if Aris is driving you there. One of the best tours I have ever done. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Bali!

Fantastic and Private day tour - Awan was our driver, he was very accomodating and knowledgeable. Altered our trip based on where we wanted to go. Got picked up at 4:30 and ended at 2pm, no waiting in lines. Even better if you go in a smaller group because it feels more custom to choice and private. Been told larger groups have a harder time deciding on where to go and generally take longer. Luckily we were only a party of 3. Definitely recommend and swing is far cheaper than the one everyone else goes to. 350,000 IDR vs 800,000 IDR my other family went to.

Bali trip - Great experience! This is whole day trip in Bali so be ready! Go early in the morning 5am so you avoid traffic at least in 1 way. Our driver was experienced , definitely highly recommend.

Not happy - We didn’t even do half the stops we were promised and paid for. The ones we did do were great but I’m sad I paid so much for nothing I’d hoped for.

BUYER BEWARE, ITINERARY LISTED IS NOT FOLLOWED - We booked this tour through Tripadvisor for $198 for 2 people specifically because of the itinerary that was advertised. The tour listing included the following stops:
• Lempuyang Temple
• Tirta Gangga
• Tukad Cepung Waterfall
• Tegalalang Rice Terrace
• Tegenungan Waterfall
• Tirta Empul Temple
• Gallery Ada Garuda
• Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
• Ubud Art Market
• Viewpoint of Mount Agung
We also paid extra for the Bali Swing as part of the upgraded itinerary.
However, when we were picked up, the driver told us he had received a completely different itinerary and said that Tripadvisor had not communicated the advertised itinerary to the tour operator. He explained he was only scheduled to drive for 10 hours and said we would have to pay extra cash if we wanted to complete the itinerary shown in the booking.
During the tour, the driver repeatedly tried to persuade us not to go to Lempuyang Temple, saying it was too far and that the lines could be over an hour. He suggested visiting a closer temple instead and said “all temples look the same.” We insisted on following the itinerary we paid for, and we eventually did go there.
In reality, the places we visited were:
• Lempuyang Temple (after insisting)
• Tirta Gangga
• Bali Swing
• Coffee tasting stop
• Warung Kopi Bawasari lookout point
Instead of the waterfalls listed in the itinerary, we were taken to Kanto Lampo Waterfall, which was not part of the tour we booked. It required walking down hundreds of steep steps and the water was very dirty. We stayed about 15 minutes and left.
The following advertised stops were never visited:
• Tukad Cepung Waterfall
• Tegalalang Rice Terrace
• Tegenungan Waterfall
• Tirta Empul Temple
• Gallery Ada Garuda
• Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
• Ubud Art Market
• Mount Agung viewpoint
In other words, most of the advertised itinerary was not completed, and several unadvertised stops were substituted instead.
We booked this tour specifically for the itinerary shown on Tripadvisor, but the experience we received was completely different. I respectfully request a refund and ask that this listing be reviewed to ensure future travelers are not misled by an itinerary that cannot realistically be completed.
