A Wonderful Day - We visited and stayed for a while at two beautiful Bali beaches. The second beach was Padang Padang where the Julia Robert’s movie Eat, Pray, Love was filmed. The beach was rustic and absolutely stunning although a little crowded but definitely worth seeing. There are quite a lot of steps down to the beach including through quite a dark cave, quite the challenge if you’re unfit but worth it! Following this we drove to UluwatuTemple. There we took our seats to enjoy a wonderful traditional Kecak fire dance performance that was both fascinating and hypnotic and most memorable. The tiered stone seating isn’t terribly comfortable and the space for legs and feet is fairly cramped particularly if you have long legs but worth the discomfort! We chose tickets for the 6pm performance as the sunset occurred during this time making for a beautiful backdrop. Care needs to be taken with personal belongings on the walk to and from the performance area as wild monkeys sit in wait ready to steal anything visible such as glasses, phones hats etc. I witnessed a phone being taken from a girls hand and glasses snatched from a guys face, so hide all belongings. The icing on the cake though was our lovely driver Yana. He was such a kind, thoughtful wonderful guy who looked after us so well throughout the day. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Bali and a great driver who knew all of the shortcuts on the way back to our hotel in the evening. We were so impressed with Yana we organised another trip with him a few days later.

Girls trip Bali - We used Exotic Paradise Bali for our girls trip to Bali for 12 days in February. Arno was our driver, and he was nothing short of AMAZING!!! I don’t know how we would have done without him!! He knew so many shortcuts and tips. He also truly watched out for us and was totally dependable every day we used him! Cannot say enough good things about the company and the driver! Flawless!!

Disappointed, not as described. - Unfortunately this was not as described on TripAdvisor. Basically it's a driver for a few hours, all tickets are at an additional cost. Driver was polite and drove safely. However, he didn't seem aware of what we had booked . Initially we were taken to a beach to snorkel, however we were then told that it was an additional 650k Indonesian each to snorkel. Whilst the description advised snorkel equipment extra there is no mention of having to pay for an excursion to a snorkel spot. We declined, and got the description up for the driver. We were then taken to a different beach, mengiat , where we could swim for free. We chose to pay for beach beds, these were very reasonable. Good beach, lovely and calm to swim. We then went to Padang, Padang beach . There is a charge to go down to the beach, and lots of steps. Beautiful beach once there, popular with windsurfers. We then went on to Uluwatu temple, we were aware of the entrance fee but the description reads like it includes the kecak dance but we had to buy additional tickets. We were also told we had to get our seats for the show about 40 minutes before it started. We enjoyed the temple and the show. Just frustrating that the description was misleading.
