The mastaba is distinguished by its elaborate decoration and detailed portrayal of everyday life in ancient Egypt. The entrance leads to a courtyard with columns and a burial shaft. The tomb’s interior includes two serdabs, or storage chambers for statues of the deceased, as well as beautifully carved reliefs depicting scenes of agriculture, hunting, fishing, and other daily activities.
