This pyramid is the world’s earliest colossal stone structure and is a cornerstone of Egyptian history, serving as a model for subsequent pyramids with enhancements.
- Step Pyramid of Djoser - The Step Pyramid of King Djoser, dating back to 2670 BC, is the oldest stone structure globally. It is part of a vast complex that includes the Colonnaded Entrance, Sed Festival complex, Enclosure wall, North and South Pavilions, Southern Tomb, and thousands of surrounding tombs. With your knowledgeable tour guide, you will learn extensively about King Djoser, his gifted architect Imhotep, and the latest discoveries in Saqqara.
