On completing the exploration of these age-old tombs and the Sphinx, depart from Giza, heading towards the rural regions near Cairo to visit the Step Pyramid of Sakkara. This unique, stepped tomb is Egypt’s oldest known pyramid. Continue onwards to Memphis to unearth the remnants of the olden Egyptian capital, which houses a gigantic statue of Ramses II.
