Day 01: Travel to Cairo

Day 01: Travel to Cairo
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Your tour guide and manager will be ready to greet you inside Port Said Port. From the start of your tour, your guides will provide you with their full attention. Once in the vehicle, your guide will discuss all the sights along the way and other interesting aspects of your tour.
Travel to Sakkara in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle that adheres to UK/USA travel standards.
Begin your tour by visiting Sakkara, part of Memphis’s extensive necropolis. Discover the burial site of ancient Noble Egyptians and the first pyramids built in Egypt, known as the Step Pyramids. Continue your journey to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, to see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the partially buried Hathor Temple. Before heading to Giza, you will also view the Sphinx of one of the pharaohs.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Pyramids of Giza - Travel to the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Visit The Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and take advantage of many excellent photo opportunities.
This tour includes a visit to the Valley Temple facing the Great Sphinx, with an optional shopping tour at the traditional bazaars where you can purchase a variety of traditional souvenirs.
Day 02: Cairo Tour - Back to Port
Egyptian Museum - After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you in the lobby to take you to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which includes the treasures of King Tutankhamen. There will be time for a panoramic photo stop in Cairo and along the River Nile.
Cairo Citadel - Before visiting the Citadel of Saladin and the Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque.
Finally, you will be escorted back to Port Said, where you will have the chance to take photos of the famous Library of Alexandria and the lighthouse before your guide returns you to your cruise ship two hours before your departure time.
