Only 2 stops. More stops with only one wine at each one would make the tour more enjoyable. Calling it a “walking tour” is quite misleading. Our guide Jeffrey was excellent!
Lynn was great and certainly new a lot about wine. We enjoyed ourselves. My one comment would be that for tourist's from other places that take the tour, a little information about the area would make the tour more informative. We had a couple from Spain on our tour and we drank wine from Spain at the first restaurant. It was wine they had been drinking all their lives. I'm not sure they got a whole lot from the tour because we really didn't talk about the area or any local information. We took the Back Bay tour and a little information about the back bay would have been welcomed.
Seemed geared towards beginners.
Wish they gave more wine. What happened with the other half of the bottles?
Melanie was very knowledgeable and personable. I do prefer a tour with 3 locations however.
I've done the same tour in the past, and it used to be 3 stops, not two and on the website it said it would end at L'Espalier but we ended at Legal. Our guide was great and the wines we tasted were lovely, but it was not the same as last time.
Roz was excellent and very knowledgeable . She presented all the wines very well. I had been on some food tours in NY and expected more venues . All in all we had fun and learned some. Thank you, Kathy
Not great value for the price. Tour leader was pleasant.
I would have preferred more instruction about the wines. However, our tour leader was very personable.
