Magical sunrise paddleboard tour with Jorge , peaceful, fun, and unforgettable 🌅✨ - ✨ We did the sunrise paddle board tour in Bacalar with Jorge and it was truly one of the most serene and memorable experiences of our entire trip. Jorge is an amazing guide , super friendly, calm, and knowledgeable. Before we even got on the lagoon, he gave us paddle board lessons and tips so we felt totally comfortable, even in the early morning darkness. He also provided bright lights for our bags and set-up area, which made it feel safe and organized while we got everything ready. He took GoPro photos and videos the whole time, so you really don’t need to bring your phone at all. (If you do bring it, make sure you have a waterproof phone bag you can wear around your neck , you WILL thank yourself later.) The sunrise itself was absolutely breathtaking. Being out on the lagoon while the sky changed colors was unreal and felt so peaceful and special. After paddling, Jorge treated us to breakfast (coffee, Nutella toast with banana, and fruit), and then he surprised us with the most relaxing moment ever — he brought a singing bowl and guided a meditation while we laid on our backs on the boards. He even gently pushed each of us out into the lagoon so we had our own little space and privacy. The meditation lasted around 10–15 minutes and felt like something out of a movie. So calming and beautiful. Also… I fell into the water THREE times 😂 (first because my bf ran into me, other two I was just a little tired and slipped lol) but it was shallow and honestly hilarious , it made the experience even more fun and memorable. I was slightly worried about being cold because there was a small cold front, but I wore leggings and a long sleeve top and it was totally fine. If you’re visiting Bacalar, don’t miss this tour. It’s peaceful, magical, well-organized, and such a unique way to experience the lagoon. Jorge truly creates a special vibe and you can tell he loves what he does. Highly recommend!! 🌅💙🙏

One of the best Tours so far in Mexico!!! - It was a little bit cloudy but one of the best sunsets seeing so far. Also with the clouds was amazing! Amando the tour guide it it to an incredible experience for us also incluiding a special meditation class

Sunrise paddle boarding - I enjoyed our sunrise crossing of Bacalar Lagoon. I was a bit intimidated at first, being out on the water in the dark, but then it felt kind of magical as the sky lit up and we could see the silhouette of the opposite shore. Jorge was a great guide who is positive and enthusiastic and takes joy in making sure that everyone has an good time.

You will not regret booking this tour! - Such an incredible way to see more of the lagoon in beautiful Bacalar! Cannot recommend this tour more, loved the paddle boarding and the views and colours of the lagoon are just stunning. Jorge and Armando were the best guides, we had such a fun morning learning about the lagoon, paddling and chatting. Breakfast with sunrise followed by a sound meditation also included...the perfect start to the day!

Highly recommend - WOW — what an unforgettable sunrise experience! We traveled with my brother and wanted to experience the sunrise on the lagoon. This tour was recommended by our hotel, and we started early at 6 a.m., when it was still dark and around 13–14°C. At first, we hesitated because of the cool temperature, but it didn’t bother us at all. Our guide, Armando, was absolutely wonderful — incredibly kind, supportive, and encouraging, with excellent English. He shared fascinating information about the lagoon, birds, pirates, and everything else we were curious about, which made the experience even more special. We witnessed a magical play of colors during the sunrise, listened to the sounds of nature, enjoyed breakfast on the lagoon, and then meditated — first with singing bowls and later accompanied only by natural sounds. On the way back, we had a fun little “race” through the canal, followed by a photo session and a peaceful, relaxing crossing of the lagoon. Everything was perfectly organized and thoughtfully planned. A truly unique and unforgettable experience — highly recommended to everyone!

It was a unique experience in the Laguna de Bacalar, knowing unique places. At first I was hesitant to take the tour - It is a complete tour, encourage to take it despite the schedule. If this is your first time heeding the directions of your guide Eduardo, they will be useful on the tour.

Magical experience - This tour was magical. Right from the start with the breathtaking sky. Being in the complete dark on the water and seeing all the stars was truly amazing. The sunrise was very beautiful. We took breakfast at a really nice spot and I loved the meditation Jorge initiated, lying down on your paddle board listening to the sound bowls he brought and hearing the birds. And supping in itself is also great fun. We also saw a stingray swimming underneath our paddle boards, which was cool. Just loved the whole experience! We didn’t ran into any other tourists which made it feel like we were on the water alone. Big thank you to Jorge, you are amazing! And to the other girls in the group, you all made it an unforgettable experience

When I started the trip I was afraid, but thanks to Armando and Jorge, I managed to overcome my fears. 10 out of 10 - It was a very fatherly experience, Jorge and Armando very friendly and attentive people at all times. I recommend not to miss this experience

Beautiful and unique experience - I did the tour with my wife and my 2-year-old baby, in the beginning with fear of the cold and the dark, in the end the illusion came true, we saw the sunrise from the third lagoon, Armando and Jorge guided us very well, explained everything and were very attentive, even lent us a jacket and helped us, they did everything possible because even for the little one the experience was unique and memorable. Super recommended, an out of the ordinary and beautiful experience. One becomes aware of ecosystem care!

Amazing sunset on the laguna 🤩 - It was an amazing expérience ! You will not regret to wake up at 5 am ! And don’t worry about being hungry you’ll have breakfast on the lagoon. Thank’s to our guides José and Armando who were amazing all way long !
