Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - Following breakfast, the journey begins to Tarangire National Park. This park is situated along the Tarangire River and is characterized by low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation is primarily Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with expansive swamp areas in the south. During Tanzania’s dry season, the river and swamps attract a multitude of wildlife. Tarangire National Park is renowned for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Additionally, it is home to three rare animal species: the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings. After enjoying a picnic lunch, an afternoon game drive is planned.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti - After an early breakfast, the journey continues to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Although the drive is lengthy, it offers spectacular views. For first-time visitors, this experience is truly unforgettable. As the journey progresses into the Serengeti, the meaning of its name, “endless plains,” becomes evident. The park spans 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), with plains extending to the horizon, challenging one’s perception of distance. It is the site of the Great Migration, home to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. The park is also a prime location for observing Big Cats and large predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many famous television scenes, such as river crossings, filmed here.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti - A full day is dedicated to exploring Serengeti National Park. The itinerary is flexible and can be tailored to individual preferences. Each day, the guide will discuss the best schedule, including game drives and wake-up times. Options for this day include a morning game drive followed by lunch and relaxation at the camp, concluding with an afternoon game drive, or a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro Crater - An early start is recommended to enjoy a morning game drive when wildlife is most active and to witness a breathtaking sunrise. After the game drive, a delightful brunch is served at the camp before proceeding to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater covers 102 square miles and features 2,000-foot-high walls, creating a natural sanctuary for nearly every species native to East Africa. It is one of the few places on the continent where the black Rhino can be seen. The crater includes a river, swamps, a soda lake with a high concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It is also known for its elephants, which are the largest in the world with enormous tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is indeed a Wonder of the Natural World.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater - The day begins early with a descent into the crater floor for an extraordinary morning of wildlife viewing in one of the planet’s most breathtaking locations. Following the game drive, a picnic lunch is enjoyed near the picturesque hippo Lake. After lunch, there is time for a brief game drive before ascending the crater and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. The expected return to Arusha is around 5 pm, with flexibility for flight schedules or other circumstances.
