• Bibliotheca Alexandria - Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo and travel to Alexandria. The tour starts at the Library of Alexandria, the largest library in the world, housing 8 million books. Visit the President Sadat Museum and explore the open court, where you can admire statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy I, discovered underwater nearby. The guide will provide an overview of the library’s exterior design, with opportunities for photo stops. Note: The Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays. A ticket is required to enter the reading area.
• Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the largest Roman cemetery, featuring three levels carved into the rock.
• Pompey’s Pillar - Drive by Pompey’s Pillar, constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century, and pause for a photo opportunity.

• Mansheya - Continue the tour through Mansheya’s oldest market area, featuring traditional women’s markets (zan’et etsetat) with narrow streets, and a gold market where wedding and engagement jewelry is purchased.
• Alexandria Unknown Naval Soldier Memorial - Pass by the Unknown Soldiers Memorial.
• Sidi Morsi Abu al-Abbas Mosque - Visit the stunning and largest mosque in the city, with a photo stop at the Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Walk by Egypt’s oldest funfair.

View the exterior of Quaitbay Castle, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. • King Farouk Palace - In Montaza Gardens, also known as the Love Garden, visit the royal gardens of King Farouk, Egypt’s last king. Explore the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, walk along the famous Montaza bridge, reach the Tea Palace island, and see the royal beaches of the queens. Then, enjoy a comfortable return to your hotel in Cairo.
