Conquer the Challenging Trail to the Summit of Mt Tomaniivi, Fiji’s Highest Peak

Mount Tomanivi - Begin your day with an early breakfast and embark on the steep, muddy trail before the day heats up. The summit offers breathtaking views on clear days, and the area is a protected forest reserve. The cloud forest is incredibly diverse, featuring various orchid species and unique Fijian birds. The round trip is approximately 10 km, with about 6 hours allocated for ample rest stops and a break at the summit.

Nadrau - After returning to the homestay in Navai, unwind and freshen up before continuing along the Nadrau plateau to the secluded Naga village. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Settle into your new environment and, if you have the energy, take a short walk with a community guide before meeting your hosts and receiving a formal welcome. Delight in a talanoa (chat) over a bowl of kava and savor a fresh, locally sourced dinner prepared by the village.

Sigatoka - After your morning hike, depart Nubutautau and travel by 4WD vehicle to Sigatoka, enjoying expansive views across the Ba and Sigatoka river watersheds, then proceed to Nadi or Suva, marking the end of your adventure.
