Additional Information

This journey was absolutely astonishing. Even though the commute to the desert and back may be exhausting, we relished the various halts we had during the travel. Our chauffeur, Simo, was exceedingly hospitable, pausing whenever anyone in the vehicle needed a respite and always with a cheerful demeanor. It’s important to point out: your trek to the…

Excellent 1 night stay in the desert 🐪 - We went from Fez to the Desert 🐪🐫 of Merzouga, stayed one night in the desert in a luxury campsite and the next day we returned to Fez. In the evening there was a little dance beside drums near a fire in the desert. The comfortable bed, there was light with solar panels and hot water with boilers. They gave us an acceptable dinner and the next morning breakfast. I recommend it.. Excellent attention of the boys from communication x Whatsapp as the guided tour of the desert. Saludos, Jorge.

Amazing experience with kids! - Our trip was unforgettable! We were picked up from Fez, and a big thank goes to Driss, our amazing guide. His energy, enthusiasm, and warm personality made the journey incredibly fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Epic!! Must Do!! - The experience was absolutely amazing. Everyone involved was helpful, kind and generous. I would highly recommend this tour. We were a party of five and they accommodated us beautifully. The food and accommodations were amazing. The tents have heat and AC with private bathroom. The scenery was out of this world, and the experience of riding a camel through the desert at sunset was unbelievably epic. The only thing that I would say that was a slight negative was the length of the drive from Fes to the tour site. That being said, I would certainly return and do this again. 5 STARS!

amazing 4days trip with kids - I had 4 days/3 nights trip from Fez to Marrakesh. I can only recommend spend more than 1 night in the desert. the camp is amazing, you will enjoy the desert being basically alone because all people stay only 1 night. long travel time to/from desert but with several stops to enjoy some sightseeing. I travelled with 3 kids age 6 and 10. do not hesitate to book, it was a life long memory for all of us

One night in the desert - It was nice to enjoy the Sahara desert and to ride the camel. Great the dawn above the dunes. Good typical Berber dinner and night around the fire playing djembe. The trip from Fes was really long though (it was 8 hours driving each day), especially if you consider that we spent only one night there.

An Adventure Sahara Desert trip from Fes. - We had a blast on our Sahara Desert trip from Fez, but the organization left much to be desired. Our pickup contact, Redwan, initially stated a 7:30 am pickup, but then called at 7:00 am, rushing us to be ready in 7 minutes. Despite the chaotic start, transportation was comfortable and efficient. After a 6-hour journey, we finally arrived at the Sahara Desert, unfortunately we arrived late at the sunset. The camp staff rushed us to prepare for the camel ride, which was an incredible 30-40 minute experience, We loved it. - Don't pay extra for additional activities; they're not worth it. Ride your camel back to the entrance. - The camp exceeded my expectations, room excellent condition, well maintained, your own bathroom with shower, sizes of the room a bigger that some Raids(hotel) . Food was basic but sufficient and delicious. - The music and dance show was simple, featuring camp staff playing drums, but we still had a great time. I recommend this trip "Yes". Be aware that the return journey can be stressful due to multiple drivers involved. *Rating:* - Organization: 2/5 - Transportation: 4/5 - Camp Experience: 5/5 - Overall: 4/5

Impressive desert experience - We joined the standard tent 2 day desert tour - picked up from Fez and dropped back in Marrakech. It was meant to be a 17 people group tour by Fez Desert Tour booked through Trip Advisor (Viator) and we got lucky that there were only the two of us on the outward journey. The driver Hassan was excellent. Together with his rider, Hamid, we have learnt a fair bit about the few places where we stopped as well as some Berber culture. The desert, camel ride, watching both sun rise and sun set over sand dunes were unforgettable. The tent / accommodation was indeed very comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed the Berber dinner, music, bonfire and Berber breakfast. The return journey was much tougher, although the driver was also very good. We were in a group van which only has intermittent air conditioning and not all windows have curtains to screen off the strong sun. There were no interesting stops on the route apart for coffee and lunch. The latter was at a very typical road side eatery with pricey yet standard menus for mass tours. Fellow travellers suggested that perhaps a 3 day tour would be better if one can afford the time, so that the return journey would be more interesting. Alternatively, there are also domestic flights to Errachidia to consider.

Non-compliance with Morroco Unique Tours commitments - Morocco Unique Tour was the firm selected for our 2-day trip in the desert. The trip was made in a mini van with 8 people on board for 8 hours , we paid for 2 breakfast, bed and dinner in the desert and mineral water during the 16 hour round trip. The firm did not meet its commitments of what was included as we had no breakfast on the way and no water provided during the 16-hour drive. She did not respect the agreement and paid more than 40 E for our group of 3 people, our group does not recommend this firm for this activity

Don't go with this tour company - It wasn't memorable he did not show despite having my hotel. He assumed I was in the other city. Terrible communication.
