There is no official record of when it was built, and the name “Saranta,” meaning “40” in Greek, is believed to refer to forty stalagmites on the cave ceiling, linked to the 40 Martyrs of Sebaste.

Great tour, my guide was... - Great tour, my guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable even though the other guests didn’t join. Also great photographer too!

Lovely - Our experience was great! The tour consisted of many caves, breathtaking views and churches. We stopped at konnos bay which was lovely considering the heat. Our driver was John and he was very enthusiastic, fun and overall a great guide. He explained to us some historical facts regarding Cyprus and also took photos of us at every location. He was very friendly and his jeep was in great condition. I loved this experience and I recommend it especially if you want to visit alot of places but not get too tired.

Girl trip in jeep 2025 - Excellent course of about 3h30 with a concentration of magnificent spots such as the view of the crystal clear water at kamama tou koraka or the bridge of lovers and the peak of Cape Greko. A discovery with the picturesque chapel Agioi Anargyroi and its history. The 3/4 hour relaxation was welcome on Konnos Beach. All this under the guidance of Uncle Mike our guide. Thank you.

Tour guide arrived right... - Tour guide arrived right on time, was very friendly and informative, we had a lot of find touring round the island going off road and seeing the sights, would highly recommend!

Fun jeep ride with amazing views - Fun trip, with amazing views. Quite bumpy as we went off road in some places. But this was expected. I would recommend this trip.

Cave Dwellers Jeep Safari - We’ve seen gorgeous places, picturesque views and our guide, Tony was friendly, entertaining and funny.
Really enjoyed the tour and can only recommend it to anyone staying in Ayia Napa.

Good half day excursion from resort - We were a family of four, two grandparents, daughter and grandson staying for a week on holiday in the area. This experience was good as a half day out of the resort and we got to see some interesting places as well as experiencing the off road driving. As a couple of other reviews have said we would have appreciated less time at the beach - we are able to swim at our resort, and it was crowded even for the last week in October, whereas using the time to visit some other off the beat places could have been more interesting for us. Also, whilst it wasn't an issue directly for us you do need to consider that you may be sat in the row of three seats or sideways in the back, and if you are of above average size or have any back problems just remember you are going for an off road experience! All in all though we would definitely recommend.

Great experience! - We had a great time on the jeep safari! Beautiful stops, clear water for swimming, and the off-road ride was a lot of fun. The driver was friendly, though a bit more info about the places would have been helpful. The jeep was quite full, which made it a little less comfortable, but overall a fun experience!

Great Safari Trip - The places visited were excellent. Very good for children as guide was great at included her and making it great fun. Wish less time was spent at Konnos beach as it was very crowded and we had access to beaches at the hotel already. We were more interested in seeing the other parts of the trip, such as the churches and sea cave areas.

Not great. - Vehicle very cramped and uncomfortable, guide spoke very little English with no explanation as to where we were or where we were going. Parked the land rover let us out and smoked fags till it was time to move on.
Not really a jeep safari as you could quite easily do the same thing yourself in a normal vehicle.
An hour at the beach at the end was basically killing time.
Not good value for money in my opinion.
