Eerie, exciting and interesting. - An incredibly exciting tour into the closed city of Famagusta. Our guide George was very clear, friendly and took us through the story in a very entertaining and informative way.
I can really recommend this tour to anyone who can walk in the sun for a while.

Interesting Historical Geopolitical Visit to Occupied Ammochostos - The excursion to Ammochostos Ghost Town was extremely interesting and full of history and geopolitics. First stop in Derynia to learn about the history of Ammochostos before and after the Turkish invasion. Crossing then to the occupied territories and visiting Varosia, the ghost town - suburb of Ammochostos. Tour guide George was excellent, professional, friendly and full of knowledge. Dimitris the driver was also super. Both of them shared their personal experiences, as they originate from the occupied Ammochostos region. Their families fled as refugees to the free area of the Republic of Cyprus. Their personal connection to Ammochostos adds more knowledge and experience. I learnt a lot from both. The trip was safe thanks to the organisers. We even had three quarters free time in the old town of Ammochostos - Famagusta. I fully recommend the excursion. It is not for fun. It is for knowledge and history. Thank you George and Dimitri!

George is the best! - George our tour guide was amazing! Cannot fault him, very informative but such a nice funny guy!
However we were told when we booked the trip pick up would be 7:45am and we didnt hear anything else. We were still waiting at 8:45am as I couldn't get through to anyone on the webchat or phone to confirm what was going on.

Tour operator messed up with our booking - Most likely would have been a very interesting trip, but the tour operator messed up with our booking and picked us up to a completely wrong trip. This appeared by chance only after discussing with other passengers in the car.
When I called the operator about the case, they promised to return to us with a possibility for the right tour the next day. But they never called me back. I needed to call the operator twice to get a full re-fund.
I think this wasn’t handled professionally at all.

Warning: Do NOT book with Trackers Excursions. - Trackers Excursions was a no show. My day was ruined because of this. My tour was booked and confirmed, hotel pick up 7:45A.
I asked the hotel reception to call at 8:00A, 8:30A and we were assured that the driver was on his way. Called again at 9:00A and was informed by Antoinette that I would not be picked up and I could ask for a refund. I asked to speak with her manager: he (Bambus) said he would take me personally and asked me to call his cell in one hour so he could arrange. All subsequent calls to reach Bambu or Trackers failed. I was ghosted. At this point, too late to salvage my day. What an unprofessional, horrible experience.
